Honourees gathered in the  surrounds of The Westbury Hotel last night to mark to launch of the Business & Finance FDI 100 2016 issue.

The FDI 100 is an index highlighting those companies who have invested heavily and made a vital contribution to the Irish economy.

Ireland continues to attract high-performing industries and these large multinationals are maintaining a key presence here.

Foreign direct investment continues to be a driver of economic growth and job creation, both directly and indirectly, and Ireland is determined to remain a location of choice for enterprises.

Title sponsor of last night’s event was HP and a range of their cutting-edge portfolio of printers, PCs and mobile devices were on show, while airline sponsor United Airlines offered goodie bags to the distinguished guests.

Speakers on the night included Ian Hyland (Business & Finance), Johann Butting (Dropbox), Tom Farrington (Perrigo), Gary Tierney (HP) and Ben English, who spoke about the the Dublin Tech Summit taking place in 2017.
