The Merrion Hotel in Dublin played host to the some of Ireland’s leading business lights last night as Business & Finance launched the FDI 100 issue.
The FDI 100 is an annually updated index, highlighting and honouring the decisions of multinationals and their leaders to invest in Ireland. In 2013, FDI into Ireland saw notable gains in the technology, life sciences and international financial services sectors. With a spotlight on job creation, innovation, thought leadership and the most vital contributions to the Irish economy, the Business & Finance FDI 100 represents some of the most extensive profiling of Ireland’s largest multinationals.
Those recognised on the night included John Herlihy,vice president of global ad operations for Google and Barry O’Leary, outgoing chief executive of the IDA, both of whom were honoured for their outstanding contribution to Ireland.
