Kofi Annan to present Mary Robinson with Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award in Dublin

Former secretary general of the United Nations Kofi Annan will present former President of Ireland Mary Robinson with the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland award at the Business & Finance Irish Business Awards 2015.

The Business & Finance Awards programme was established in 1974 and over the past 40 years it has become the longest running and most coveted business awards programme in Ireland.

Since it’s launch in September 1964 as Ireland’s first business magazine, Business & Finance has celebrated 50 years delivering insightful news, comment and analysis to and about the Irish and international business community.

This prestigious awards programme has celebrated the outstanding achievements of some of the most outstanding business leaders of our time.

This year, the 41st Business & Finance Awards will celebrate Ireland’s outstanding FDI successes over the last 60 years, honouring one hundred of the most significant global investors in Ireland.

The announcement that this year’s awards will see Kofi Annan, former secretary general of the United Nations present former President of Ireland Mary Robinson with the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award is an exciting addition to the impressive programme of events taking place at The Convention Centre on Thursday, December 17th.
