IDA Ireland has launched Invest in Cork, a phase of its digital marketing initiative for attracting inward investment to Ireland.

Invest in Cork is an interactive experience designed for use on tablet, smartphone and PC providing information on location, education, lifestyle and existing IDA client companies and indigenous companies.

The website allows IDA executives to showcase Cork in face-to-face client meetings.

Commenting on the launch, IDA’s South-West Regional Business Development Manager, Ray O’Connor, said: “Cork is already home to close to 150 overseas companies employing 28,500 people. The strong base of existing international brand name companies coupled with good quality infrastructure and positive quality of life experience provides Cork with a strong value proposition for new companies. Invest in Cork is an innovative digital marketing application that will allow us to showcase Cork at its best.

He continued: “IDA looks forward to continuing to work closely with our partners in the region to promote the location as an attractive place for inward investment and job creation opportunities.”
