Dublin’s newest hotel –  and the first to be opened in Dublin in nearly two year – The Dean Hotel  is set to create 100 new jobs.

The €5.5m build at the former ICC Bank offices on Harcourt Street in Dublin city centre, which encompasses three Georgian buildings over five floors and offers 52 bedrooms, is set to open this Friday and is the latest development from Press Up Entertainment Group, which currently owns and operates a number of Dublin’s most popular bars and restaurants, including The Liquor Rooms on Wellington Quay,  the Vintage Cocktail Club in Temple Bar and Peruke & Periwig on Dawson Street.

More than 120 craftsmen and builders have been on-site for eight months renovating the property, which features The Dean Bar and hotel reception at ground level; at first floor, a multipurpose event/function space, The Blue Room; and on the roof Sophie’s, a panoramic Italian/New York restaurant that seats 140, with views across Dublin city and mountains.

Original art from emerging Irish artists is on display across the entire hotel including all bedrooms, with commissions and purchases totalling in excess of €250,000.
