By Business & Finance Duff & Phelps Corporation, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, today announced that the firm has acquired the restructuring and insolvency division of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks (FGS), located in the Republic of Ireland.
The restructuring and insolvency division of RSM FGS is a leading advisor with a reputation for providing a broad array of high quality turnaround, corporate recovery and property asset management services to local, regional and global businesses throughout Ireland and internationally.
The transaction, terms of which were not disclosed, expands Duff & Phelps’ global restructuring advisory practice to include more than 200 professionals across Europe, the US and Canada. RSM FGS restructuring and insolvency partners, Declan Taite, Pearse Farrell and Anne O’Dwyer will lead Duff & Phelps’ restructuring practice in Ireland while supporting client access to Duff & Phelps’ broader services platform.

RSM FGS’ restructuring and insolvency division is one of the largest dedicated restructuring and insolvency teams operating in the Republic of Ireland. The division currently offers corporate restructuring, corporate insolvency, property asset management, forensic and asset tracing and personal restructuring services and has particular expertise in real estate, construction and development, hospitality and retail sectors, among others.
