Philip Greene, Head of Aircraft Leasing Coverage
HSBC Ireland

HSBC Ireland has appointed Philip Greene as Head of Aircraft Leasing Coverage within the Corporate Banking business to meet demand within the thriving sector. The role will be based in Dublin.

Philip will assume responsibility for the provision of dedicated coverage for HSBC’s Irish-based aircraft leasing customers and for driving coordination across HSBC’s product offering.

A former senior manager with Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking, Philip is also a qualified chartered accountant, with 13 years’ experience working in the financial services sector.

As the industry continues to go from strength to strength, our appointment of Philip as Head of Aircraft Leasing Coverage further bolsters our commitment to supporting those operating within the sector. Royal London is delighted to welcome Barry McCutcheon to the business as Proposition Lead, a new role at the firm.

Royal London’s proposition department, headed up by Joe Charles, consists of actuarial, marketing, and proposition specialists and is focused on providing a truly market-leading proposition to the Irish market.

Barry brings extremely strong technical and proposition development expertise as well as a great depth of knowledge of the protection market in Ireland. He joins from Aviva Life & Pensions where he gained many years of experience in marketing, technical and product development roles.

Audit, tax and advisory firm Mazars is growing its capability in the west of Ireland.

In Limerick, Mazars has merged with Maguire Caulfield Browne and in Galway the company has appointed Austin Sammon as Partner.

Austin Sammon joins Mazars with over 16 years’ experience of working with Ireland’s leading companies. He was previously an audit director in a ‘Big Four’ firm. He will provide audit and business advisory services to large and complex organisations.
