The remote-working platform abodoo has appointed Louise O’Conor as Chief Digital Officer.

O’Conor has 16 years of experience in digitally transforming and scaling businesses across global markets and multiple industries.

She has also built and led international teams in excess of 50 employees and specialises in the delivery of data acquisition and retention strategies. This has increased revenue streams and international growth.

I’m excited to join abodoo as I believe it is truly going to change lives. Meeting the team clinched the deal. Their passion and values align with my own of paying it forward and making a difference. The concept of Smart Working enables people to have flexibility in their lives and companies to hire the best talent based on skills and not location.

She continued: “The recruitment industry is broken and we plan to fix and disrupt it, opening the world to new possibilities which will also help meet the UN goals regarding diversity, climate change, economies and health.

“With over 10,000 registered users already, we’re growing hourly. We’ve raised over half a million in funding and our plan is to raise substantial VC funding early next year and enter the US market. The possibilities are endless.”

O’Conor also speaks six languages, has lived and worked in eight countries and has travelled to 60 countries.
