Business & Finance highlights notable new appointments at Mediaworks, Amrop and  Investwise.

Enda McGuinness, Investment Director

Investwise

Enda McGuinness has joined Dublin-based financial planning firm, Investwise, as Investment Manager.

Most recently a corporate finance manager with Deloitte, and formerly an investment manager and analyst with Axa Financial, Enda McGuinness has extensive expertise in wealth management, investment funds and portfolio management.

Enda McGuinness holds both his primary degree in Economics and a Masters’ degree in Financial Services from University College Dublin.  He is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®, a Qualified Financial Adviser, QFA, and a member of the Society of Financial Planners Ireland.

Mark Delaney, Board of Directors 

Mediaworks

 Mediaworks, the media and communications agency which is part of Core, has appointed Mark Delany to its board of directors.

In Mark’s current role as Business Director of Mediaworks, he is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of media planning for a range of Mediaworks clients, as well as serving on the Mediaworks Executive Management Committee, which manages the day to day agency operations.

Mark is actively involved in training and development within Mediaworks as well as Core Learning and has had a number of thought leadership pieces published on print media and the future of the industry.

Mark joined Mediaworks as a Client Director in 2013 and before that he worked with Vizeum and Mediavest (now known as Spark Foundry).

Morgan Mangan, Partner 

Amrop

Morgan Mangan has joined Amrop as a Partner in Dublin.  Previously, Morgan served as a senior military officer with the Irish Defence Forces, with operational experience in the Balkans, Middle East and Africa.

During his time in uniform he gained experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams in many different operational scenarios, both at home and abroad. He had the opportunity to lead teams in Kosovo, Liberia, Chad and Sierra Leone.

In addition to operational deployments, Morgan also worked in HR Section, at Defence Headquarters on several large-scale transformation projects including organisational change and talent identification. Laterally, Morgan has held senior roles with a major supply chain and logistics organisation.

He is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway and holds an MBA from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
