David Arnold, CFO
Grafton Group plc

David Arnold joined the Board and the Group as Group Chief Financial Officer on September 9th, 2013. Prior to this, he served as Group Finance Director of Enterprise plc, a leading UK Maintenance and Support Services business, from 2010 to 2013. Between 2003 and 2010, Arnold was Finance Director of Redrow plc, a prominent housebuilder. Earlier in his career, he held senior financial roles with Six Continents plc, a global hotel group, and Tarmac plc, a renowned building materials company. Arnold currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Crest Nicholson Holdings plc, a major UK housebuilding group.


Michael Behan, CFO
EirGrid Group

Michael Behan was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the EirGrid Group in January 2022, bringing over two decades of experience in financial management and leadership. Since joining EirGrid in 2006, Michael has held a number of pivotal roles, including Group Financial Controller and Financial Controller for the Single Electricity Market Operator (SEMO). His expertise has been integral to EirGrid’s financial strategy and operational success. Prior to his tenure at EirGrid, Michael served in senior finance positions at ESB National Grid, Deloitte, and John P. Greely & Co. As a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, he has a proven track record in enhancing financial performance, driving growth, and ensuring effective financial governance within the energy sector.


Nancy Buese, CFO
CRH

Nancy Buese is the Chief Financial Officer for CRH, responsible for overseeing CRH’s global finance function and playing a central role in advancing the company’s strategy, operational discipline, and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining CRH, Nancy served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Baker Hughes Company, an energy technology company, from November 2022 until February 2025. She also held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Newmont Corporation, a gold mining company, from October 2016 to October 2022.

Nancy began her career in public accounting, starting with Arthur Andersen and rising to be a partner at Ernst & Young until 2003. She has also served on the Board of Chubb Limited, an insurance and reinsurance organisation, since 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Adrian Blackshields, Finance Director
Primark

Adrian Blackshields is Finance Director with Primark with responsibility for finance, risk, and assurance across the business. Adrian has over 20 years of financial leadership experience in multiple industries, gained across both large multinational organisations and several years in investment banking and management consulting. Adrian is based in Dublin.


Basil Blakeney, Finance Director
AbbVie Ltd

basil blakeneyBasil Blakeney is an accomplished Finance Director with over 15 years of experience in senior financial roles, including positions as Finance Director and Site Director at AbbVie Limited and previously at Abbott Laboratories. He is a qualified member of both the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Associates of the Irish Tax Institute (AITI). In 2017, Blakeney enhanced his expertise by obtaining a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection. Throughout his career, Blakeney has demonstrated key strengths in delivering results through high-performing teams and building strong, collaborative relationships both within organisations and with external stakeholders. His leadership has been instrumental in driving financial success and strategic growth. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Basil Blakeney serves as a board member of Allergan Ltd., where he continues to contribute his financial acumen and strategic insights to the company’s ongoing success.


Ken Bowles, Group CFO
Smurfit Westrock

Ken Bowles was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2016 and was appointed a Director in December 2016. He joined the Group in 1994 and has occupied a number of finance roles in various parts of the Group. In 2004, he was appointed as the Group’s first Head of Compliance, in 2007, he became the Group’s Head of Tax, and in 2010, he was appointed Group Financial Controller. Bowles is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and holds a first-class MBA from the UCD Graduate School of Business.


Annemarie Britz, Director of Finance & Business Performance
Central Bank of Ireland

Annemarie Britz was appointed Director of Finance and Business Performance on 1 January 2024. She joined the Central Bank in 2019 as the Head of the Financial Control Division. Prior to joining the Central Bank, Annemarie spent most of her career working in the private sector in South Africa, where she held several CFO positions, and thereafter she joined the Reserve Bank of South Africa, where she held the positions of Deputy CFO and Deputy Head of Financial Markets. She represents the Central Bank as a member of the Budget Committee and the Accounting and Monetary Income Committee of the ECB. Annemarie holds a BCom Accounting Honours degree, a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the University of Pretoria (South Africa), and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.


Donal Buggy, CFO
Ornua

Donal Buggy has been Group Chief Financial Officer of Ornua since 2013. He has responsibility for group financial strategy, reporting & control, treasury management & taxation, along with Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Projects. Donal has also previously been responsible for ICT and acted as Interim CEO of Ornua for 8 months between 2023 and 2024. He joined the Ornua Board of Directors in 2020.
Prior to joining Ornua, Donal was Group Chief Financial Officer and Board member of Independent News & Media plc (INM) from 2002 to 2012 and represented INM as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of APN News & Media Ltd in Australia from 2003 to 2010. Prior to this, he worked with PwC in Dublin. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Donal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.


Yvonne Burke, Group CFO
Glen Dimplex

Yvonne Burke is Chief Financial Officer at Glen Dimplex Group, having joined Glen Dimplex in 2020 as Group Finance Director. She is responsible for delivering Glen Dimplex’s ambitious growth plans through organic growth and M&A. Prior to Glen Dimplex, Burke spent fifteen years in the energy sector, including Chief Financial Officer for Customer Solutions in ESB and held a number of senior roles in the UK and Ireland within SSE plc and Airtricity, including heading up the Residential Customer Business. She qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).


Aaron Carroll, Finance Director
BT

Aaron Carroll BTAaron Carroll is the Finance Director of BT Ireland, a leading communications services company employing over 650 people. BT Ireland provides essential services to mid-to-large organisations across various sectors in Ireland, playing a critical role in supporting their operations. A seasoned veteran with 19 years of experience at BT, Carroll was appointed Finance Director in April 2016. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated exceptional financial leadership, guiding the company through numerous strategic initiatives and helping to strengthen its position in the competitive telecommunications landscape. Carroll’s long-standing commitment to the business, coupled with his financial expertise, has made him a key figure in driving the financial success and operational efficiency of BT Ireland.


Nigel Clerkin, CFO
ICON plc

Nigel Clerkin joined ICON as Chief Financial Officer in October 2024. Throughout his career, Clerkin has held numerous financial leadership positions, including Group CFO of Elan Corporation, CFO of ConvaTec, a global medical and technology company, and CFO of UDG Healthcare. Immediately before joining ICON, he was CFO of LetsGetChecked, a global provider of at-home healthcare services. He commenced his career with KPMG. In addition to his extensive experience in the life sciences and healthcare services industries, Clerkin’s areas of expertise include M&A, financial processes and systems enhancement. Mr Clerkin holds a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) degree and a Master of Accounting degree from Queen’s University Belfast. He is also a qualified chartered accountant and a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.


Rob Coldrake, CFO
Flutter Entertainment

Rob was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in May 2024. Prior to this, Rob was CFO of the International Division for 4 years, overseeing a portfolio of brands including Pokerstars, Adjarabet and Betfair International. He was also instrumental in delivering the global growth and acquisition strategy, successfully overseeing the acquisitions and subsequent integrations of Junglee, Sisal and Maxbet. Prior to joining Flutter, Rob was CFO for the Markets and Airlines of TUI Group, having previously held a number of senior finance positions, including Finance Director of the UK&I and Nordic businesses in his 14-year tenure. Rob started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked for 7 years, primarily in audit, but also gained some significant transaction experience.


Neil Corcoran, CFO
Irish Life Investment Managers

neil corcoranNeil Corcoran joined ILIM as Chief Financial Officer in 2020. Corcoran has over twenty-five years’ experience across financial services and has held a variety of senior finance roles covering asset management, banking and asset servicing. He joined ILIM from the Bank of Ireland Group, where he was Director of Group Finance. Previous roles within Bank of Ireland included CFO for the Irish Retail Division and Head of Finance for Bank of Ireland Asset Management. Corcoran is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a BSc in Management.


Conor Curley, CFO

Conor Curley is an accomplished finance professional with a strong track record in supporting high-growth companies across international markets. He has held key financial roles at Digicel, contributing to the company’s operations in Papua New Guinea, China, and other global locations. His international experience has strengthened his ability to navigate complex financial challenges in dynamic markets. A Chartered Accountant with a Master’s degree in Accounting, Conor combines technical expertise with strategic insight. He has extensive experience in financial control, reporting, corporate finance, and strategic planning, aligning financial operations with broader business goals. Conor’s adaptability and global perspective make him a valuable asset in driving financial strategy and operational efficiency.


Barry D’Arcy, CFO
PTSB

Barry D’Arcy was appointed Chief Financial Officer for PTSB in February 2025. In his new role, D’Arcy is responsible for leading PTSB’s Finance function, remains a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee and the Board has joined Since joining PTSB in October 2023 as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and a member of its Executive Committee, D’Arcy has led the Bank’s Group Risk function with responsibility for the risk, credit, compliance, and regulatory activity of PTSB. Prior to joining PTSB, D’Arcy was Chief Risk Officer and an Executive Director at KBC Bank (Ireland), where previously he held several senior management positions, including Head of Finance and Head of Credit/Asset and Liability Management Risk. HE is a Certified Bank Director (Institute of Banking in Ireland) and a qualified accountant whose earlier career includes finance roles in banking, technology, and food multinationals.


Mark Denley, CFO
Vodafone Ireland

Mark Denley is a highly experienced Finance and Commercial leader, currently serving as Finance Director at Vodafone UK. With over 15 years of experience at Vodafone, Mark has held several senior finance roles, including Head of Finance for Vodafone Business and Finance Director for Group Commercial. Throughout his career, he has led financial strategies across diverse business units, focusing on areas such as enterprise solutions, business transformation, and P&L management. His work has included driving financial performance and efficiency, overseeing large-scale budgets, and leading strategic initiatives across multiple markets. Mark is skilled in financial planning, stakeholder management, and commercial decision-making, ensuring the alignment of financial objectives with the broader strategic goals of the organisation. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.


Jacinta Devine, CFO
Dole plc

Jacinta Devine was appointed to the Dole plc board on June 30th, 2022 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, she served as Corporate Secretary of Dole plc. Jacinta was appointed to the role of Company Secretary of Total Produce plc in 2017, having previously held the role of Assistant Company Secretary. She joined the Group in 1996 and during this time held a number of senior accounting and financial positions, including Divisional Finance Director of Ireland and the UK.


Enda Devine, Executive Director and Finance Director
IPB Insurance

Enda Devine is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland and a member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland with a Diploma in Information Systems awarded by Trinity College Dublin. He has held several Senior Executive, INED and Board level positions over the past twenty years in leading financial services organisations.


Niall Dolan, CFO
Applegreen plc

Niall Dolan - ApplegreenNiall Dolan joined Applegreen plc in 2015 as Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury, where he played a key role in overseeing the company’s financial strategy and managing its treasury operations. In July 2017, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, a position in which he has been instrumental in driving the financial performance and growth of the company. Before working for Applegreen, Niall accumulated extensive experience in financial leadership roles across various industries. He served as Chief Financial Officer for ISS Facility Services Ireland, where he was responsible for overseeing the financial functions of one of the country’s largest facility management companies. Prior to that, he was Divisional Financial Controller at One51 plc, where he managed the financial operations for multiple divisions, contributing to the company’s strategic development.


Peter Dunne, CFO
DAA

Peter Dunne is the Chief Financial Officer of DAA, where he oversees the financial strategy and management of Ireland’s leading airport operator. Appointed in 2019, Dunne brings extensive experience in financial planning, auditing, and risk management. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Trinity College Dublin, which laid the foundation for his successful career in finance. At DAA, Dunne plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial performance, supporting its growth, and navigating the complexities of the aviation industry. His leadership continues to guide the organisation through major infrastructure projects and operational advancements. A Chartered Accountant, Dunne began his career with PwC, where he gained significant expertise in corporate finance, having previously held senior financial roles in various sectors, including retail, construction, and technology.


Brian Fagan, CFO
I-RES

brian faganBrian Fagan joined I-RES as Finance Director on April 26th 2021. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in the delivery of internalisation for the Company, including building an experienced finance team who have taken over the management of the finance function for the Company post internalisation. Prior to joining the firm, Fagan was CFO for Island Capital and prior to that was Group Finance Director of Ballymore Group, an international property development and investment group with operations in Ireland, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. He also previously worked for DCC plc and acted as Finance Director of Flogas plc. Fagan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Comm and a post-graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from UCD.


Saragh Fitzpatrick, CFO
Houses of the Oireachtas

Saragh Fitzpatrick is a qualified ACCA accountant working as the Chief Financial Officer of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service, with responsibility for a budget of approximately €200 million per annum. She previously worked as Director of Finance and Corporate Governance with Caranua (Residential Institutions Statutory Fund), in charge of the financial management and corporate governance of the voluntary fund provided for the support of survivors of institutional abuse. Fitzpatrick also fulfilled the function of Data Protection Officer in that organisation. She also worked as an Auditor with the Health Service Executive, tasked with auditing a wide range of organisations funded by the HSE and TUSLA, and prior to that with the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, auditing Government departments and educational institutes. Fitzpatrick has over fifteen years of experience in the Life Assurance industry, as a Product Development and Management professional with experience in project management and working in a multi-dimensional team.


Louis François Gombert, CFO
Valeo Foods

Louis François Gombert joined Valeo Foods Group as Group CFO in July 2023. Louis-Francois brings a wealth of experience to Valeo Foods Group as a seasoned senior Finance leader, having worked successfully as CFO, Chief Legal and Chief Transformation Officer at Suntory Beverage & Food for more than 10 years and more recently for over 3 years as Chief Finance, Legal and Operating Officer at PE-backed HAVEA Group. His combined skill set will be of great value to Valeo Foods’ growth and transformation agenda going forward, as well as to the total finance team and talent across the group, to further develop the function.


Donal Galvin, CFO
AIB

Donal Galvin joined AIB as Group Treasurer in September 2013 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in March 2019. He became a Board member of AIB in May 2021. With over 25 years of experience in both domestic and international financial markets, Donal has developed a robust expertise in financial management and strategy. Before joining AIB, he held several senior executive positions, including Managing Director at Mizuho Securities Asia and Dutch Rabobank, as well as Treasurer of Rabobank International. His extensive background in high-level financial roles has equipped him with deep insights into global financial operations. Additionally, Donal serves as a Non-Executive Director at Goodbody, contributing his expertise to the company’s strategic oversight.


Mark Garvey, Group Finance Director and Executive Director
Glanbia

Mark Garvey was appointed as Group Finance Director of Glanvia on November 12th 2013. Prior to joining Glanbia, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until 2012 with Sara Lee Corporation, a leading global food and beverage company. Garvey also held a number of senior finance roles in the Sara Lee Corporation in the US and Europe, and prior to that, he worked with Arthur Andersen in Ireland and the US. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Garvey graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma in Professional Accounting and has an Executive MBA from Northwestern University, Illinois.
