Neal O’Rourke, Finance Director of Sky Ireland, is well aware of the value of Ibec’s KeepWell Mark to the company, but also how important mental health initiatives are to employee wellness generally. Here he speaks about partnering with Suicide or Survive to train their staff and run workshops on mental health and also the positive feedback received from employees around the KeepWell Mark.

Speaking about the accreditation he said:

Essentially what it means is over the past 12-18 months we have had an increasing focus on the wellbeing of our staff.

He continued: “We believe we’re more attuned and aware of some of the demands that people face in their lives from day to day and we’ve change how we act and behave as a company in order to be a better employer and a better place to work, and to make work life balance better for our employees.”
