Formerly a major investor in Bank of Ireland, Secretary Ross has a deep understanding of Ireland and the Irish economy in the context of both the private and public sector.

Secretary Ross and the Irish party discussed business ties between US and Ireland and more specifically, the footprint and future of Irish investment in the United States.

At the conclusion of the meeting Ireland INC extended an invitation to Secretary Ross to visit Dublin with a view to continuing dialogue and and discussing outputs arising from the meeting.

Ian Hyland, President of Ireland INC, said “Ireland INC was delighted to facilitate a meeting with Secretary Ross and supplement, with the private sector, the incredibly important work done by the government and state bodies in a week where the global footprint of Irish investment can be seen in its fullest.”

The meeting followed the eighth annual Ireland Day on the New York Stock Exchange.
