This week sees new and notable appointments at Accenture, Colliers International, N26, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car


Etain Seymour, Director of Marketing & Communications,
Accenture

Etain Seymour has been appointed director of marketing and communications at Accenture. A member of the Irish leadership team, Ms Seymour leads the organisation’s marketing and communications function, shaping Accenture’s brand strategy in Ireland, strengthening its position as an innovation-led organisation, and both enhancing and increasing employee engagement.

Alastair Blair, country managing director, Accenture in Ireland commented on the appointment: “I am delighted to welcome Etain to Accenture. She brings deep experience in leading consumer and B2B marketing strategies both in Ireland and around the world. Ms Seymour is a highly experienced marketeer with over 20 years’ experience specialising in customer centric growth strategies across a number of industries including retail, FMCG, life sciences and technology, leveraging big data, analytics, loyalty and personalisation. In her most recent role at Zoetis, a global organisation specialising in animal health and life sciences, she was the international head of digital and marketing.

Ms Seymour has a keen interest in inclusion and diversity, and has served on the board of Connecting Women in Technology (CWIT) as the chair of branding and strategy. Her responsibilities included representing member companies from across the technology sector in Ireland. She holds a BSc in Management from Trinity College Dublin, is an active member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, and a frequent conference speaker and contributor to thought leadership.


Edmund Douglas, Retail Consultant,
Colliers International

One of Dublin’s best-known property industry figures, Edmund Douglas, joins Colliers International.

A leading Chartered Surveyor for over 40 years, Mr Douglas was an original founder of DNG and DNG Commercial, and in recent years headed up the Lambert Smith Hampton property business in Dublin. He advises several profile businesses and clients including Peter Mark Group, Marathon Funds, Edward Holdings and Cosgrave Property Group.

The move by Mr Douglas sees Colliers International assume the LSH Property Management business. Property Management Directors Elaine Coughlan and Niall Egan have also moved with Douglas and join Colliers International as Directors in the greatly enlarged PM business. Nigel Kingston has also joined Colliers a Director of its Commercial Real Estate Team.

Mr Egan has worked in property for over 20 years and Ms Coughlan for 18 years both holding various roles in sales, valuations and property management, having worked with Lambert Smith Hampton (Formerly DNG Commercial) since the beginning of 2007. Niall and Elaine have vast experience working with several different funds including Marathon, Davy, Alanis, Cosgrave Property Group as well as private clients. Mr Kingston is a Chartered Surveyor with over 35 years’ experience and actively involved across all sectors, for a range of Private Investment and Corporate Clients including RSA, New Ireland Assurance, BDO, Pure Pharmacy and others.

Adrienne Gormley and Diana Styles, Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer (respectively),
N26

N26 is today announcing the appointment of two key senior executives, with a new Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer set to join the company in October. Both senior hires will join an experienced executive leadership team that has been instrumental in powering The Mobile Bank’s growth over the last five years, and will further strengthen N26’s leadership bench for the next step in its global growth journey.

Dublin-based Dropbox VP Adrienne Gormley will take the helm as N26’s Chief Operating Officer. Gormley joins N26 with over 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s most respected technology leaders, including Google and Dropbox. With deep expertise across customer experience, business operations and scaling international teams, she will oversee N26’s customer service, business operations, service experience and workplace divisions, working to scale and elevate internal capabilities and build a culture of customer-centricity and operational excellence across the organization.

Former Adidas SVP of Human Resources Diana Styles will also join as the company’s Chief People Officer. She has decades of experience across talent retention, leadership development, equity and inclusion, and building capabilities for sustainable growth.

Both roles will report directly to N26 co-founder and CFO Maximilian Tayenthal, alongside a team of experienced executives and leaders, many of whom have been with N26 for a large part of its growth to date.

Brendan Grieve, General Manager,
Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Brendan Grieve has been appointed as General Manager of Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ireland.

A Belfast-native, Mr Grieve started with Enterprise as a graduate management trainee in Dublin in 2001. In the intervening 19 years, he has held senior management, sales and business strategy roles with the company across Ireland and the UK. Most recently, he was Assistant Vice President of Rental for the UK and Ireland based at the company’s European HQ in Egham, Surrey.
