This week sees new and notable appointments at Google Ireland, Cadoo, Korn Ferry Ireland, and Fenergo


Helma Larkin, Country Manager, Large Customer Sales,
Google Ireland

Helma Larkin has been appointed to the position of Country Manager, Large Customer Sales for Google Ireland. Helma is succeeding Cera Ward, who has transitioned to a new role within Google. 

In the role, Helma will lead the sales team at Google Ireland that aims to help large Irish businesses grow and succeed domestically and internationally through their use of Google products. Since joining Google in 2018, Helma has worked on numerous verticals across the UK and Ireland business.

Prior to joining Google, Helma held the position of CEO at Dentsu Aegis Network, New York City, the first global marketing services group built for the digital economy, aimed at driving sustainable business growth for brands and businesses. Previous to her role at Denstu, Helma held the role of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at PWC, New York City, where she led cross-functional teams across financial, tax, HR and IT. 

Helma holds a BA in International Commerce and Italian and an MA in Accounting from University College Dublin. She also attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ireland) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. 


Nic Fielers, IT Project Manager,
Cadoo

Cadoo, a provider of messaging services in Ireland, today announces the appointment of Nic Fielers as IT Project Manager. The appointment follows strong recent growth for the business and will aid Cadoo’s expansion into the UK market.

With over 20 years’ experience in IT Project Management, Nic brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. As a member of Cadoo’s leadership team, he will contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Nic will also oversee and manage the development, testing and release of new upgrades and features to the Cadoo messaging system. He will work closely with customers to help ensure that both public and private sector organisations can rely on Cadoo’s mass messaging app to deliver their important correspondence in a reliable, fast and secure manner.

Nic Fielers, IT Project Manager, Cadoo

Prior to joining Cadoo, Nic held the role of Marketing and Sales Director at retail technology provider HRK since 2003. Involved in the creation of new products for the hospitality, retail and receipting trade, as well as designing and implementing numerous internal management systems, Nic was instrumental in growing the company’s client base by 30% per annum.

Previous to this, Nic was Marketing Manager at HRK Africa for three years, helping to grow the companies footprint by 50% through the introduction of new products to the market, from concept and design to testing and release.

Nic also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from University of South Africa.


Bob Casey, Managing Director,
Korn Ferry Ireland

Korn Ferry, the organisational consultancy, today announced the promotion of Bob Casey to lead their Irish business following three successful years as a Senior Client Partner within Korn Ferry Ireland. As Managing Director, he will lead a team of 40 colleagues advising some of Ireland’s largest domestic and multi-national companies on their talent and organisational strategies.

Previous to his time in Korn Ferry, Bob spent two years as CEO of London Irish Rugby Football Club and worked as a Senior Business Development Manager for Powerday ,a leading waste-to-energy business in England, for over two years. He is also a former professional rugby player who represented Leinster, London Irish, Ireland and the Barbarians over a 15-year career.

Korn Ferry Ireland also this morning announced the appointment of three new Senior Client Partners:

  • Sandra Thorpe – Organisation Strategy EMEA previously Corporate Development Director for Cairn Homes Plc and CHRO at Paddy Power Betfair Plc
  • Jenny Smyth – Organisation Strategy & Reward EMEA previously Willis Towers Watson’s former country leader for Talent & Rewards
  • David Phelan – Technology & Life Sciences EMEA  previously Managing Partner at Accreate

A Kildare native, Bob gained a Bachelor of Commerce degree at University College Dublin.  More recently he has completed an advanced management programme at Hult Business School.

Korn Ferry was also delighted to confirm that John Harty, Senior Client Partner, EMEA based out of the Korn Ferry Dublin Office, has been promoted to lead a number of global account relationships for the firm while he continues to lead Financial Services in Ireland. Stephen Boylan has also been promoted to Senior Client Partner leading Global Life Sciences.


Paul Kavanagh, Chief Revenue Officer,
Fenergo

Fenergo, a provider of digital transformation, customer journey and client lifecycle management (CLM) solutions, today announces the appointment of Paul Kavanagh as Chief Revenue Officer. Paul will oversee worldwide sales, field operations, go-to-market strategy, and partnerships to support the firm’s upward growth trajectory.

With over 15 years’ experience in sales leadership roles at leading technology companies including Cisco, Siemens and Nokia Networks, Paul brings deep expertise in driving strategic sales and operational initiatives. Paul will be responsible for continuing expansion into new markets and financial services sectors while establishing best practice across the global sales function. Paul will strengthen alliances with key partners at an executive level to ensure collaboration is optimised to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
