Business & Finance Awards: Partners announced for 2022

Business & Finance has announced the partners for the Business & Finance Awards 2022 in association with KPMG. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 1st at the Convention Centre Dublin.


In December, the Business & Finance Awards, in association with KPMG, will recognise the European Union with the Sutherland Leadership Award in recognition of the EU’s Outstanding Contribution to Ireland on the fiftieth anniversary since Ireland’s accession to membership of the EU.

These awards recognise the best in Irish businesses as they continue to innovate and adapt in an ever-evolving economic landscape and celebrate their successes,” said Séamus Hand, Managing Partner, KPMG in Ireland.

The 2022 Business & Finance Awards Programme has announced its Partners for the Awards. They are KPMG, IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Ibec, Coillte, Indeed, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Sia Partners, Aviva, I-RES, Smurfit Kappa Group, Arachas, Onclusive, Salesforce & Sky Ireland.  

Ian Hyland, President & Publisher of Business & Finance, spoke about the significance of the Business & Finance Awards Programme.

Awards

The six categories across the programme include: The 2022 Company of the Year; Business Person of the Year; Elevation Award in association with Enterprise Ireland; FDI of the Year and the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award. The DE&I Award is now in its fourth year.

2021 also saw the introduction of a new award, the Environmental & Social Governance award. This year’s Business & Finance awards will take place on December 1st at the Convention Centre, Dublin.

To complete a very special occasion International Champion Jockey Rachael Balckmore will be honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Brand Ireland Award.

Business & Finance Awards

Business & Finance was launched in 1964 as Ireland’s first business periodical with the Business & Finance Awards programme established a decade later in 1974. The Business & Finance Awards is Ireland’s premier business awards programme and includes among its previous honourees outstanding leaders of our time across business, politics and wider society. Previous honourees include former US President William Jefferson Clinton, former British Prime Minister Sir John Major, former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, former Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan, Former President Mary McAleese, President Michael D.
