Law firm ByrneWallace has announced that it has achieved the international Lexcel standard of excellence in legal practice management for the third consecutive year.

Awarded by the Law Society of England & Wales, Lexcel is the Law Society’s quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and excellence in legal client care. Developed for the global legal profession, this accreditation is awarded to law firms that prove, under on-site assessment by an accredited external auditor, that they meet the highest standards of client care, risk, quality and business management.

While over 1,000 firms have achieved Lexcel internationally, ByrneWallace is the only top 10 law firm in Ireland to successfully meet this standard of excellence.

Commenting on the achievement, Catherine Guy, managing partner, ByrneWallace said: “We are driven to achieve excellence in everything we do, and Lexcel is the independent verification that we apply the most rigorous practice standards which distinguish us from other Irish law firms.

“To deliver on our commitment to excellence, we have made it our mission to have the best people delivering the best legal service to our clients.

“I am proud that our firm has been recognised for excellence for the third consecutive year and I acknowledge and appreciate the dedication of the ByrneWallace team for ensuring that we achieve high quality standards.”
