Greencore Group is our Company of the Month for July 2026, in association with KPMG. Greencore reported record third-quarter sales as strong demand for its convenience foods helped lift revenue and prompted the company to raise its full-year profit outlook.

Greencore Group, a leading international manufacturer of convenience foods, reported a revenue of £1.02bn (€1.9bn) for the 13 weeks to June 26, with like-for-like sales rising 3.2pc.

Greencore strives for a better future where “our people and our business thrive sustainably.” They run on the core values that better food and relationships make businesses stronger, along with an improved world.

The Dublin-headquartered company, which supplies own-brand convenience foods to major UK supermarkets and retailers, said sales in its “food for now” division, which includes sandwiches, salads and sushi, rose 4.7pc to £512.3m (€599m) during the quarter.

This was echoed by their Revenue from the “food for later” range, including ready meals, pizzas, breads and desserts, which increased to £512m (€600m).

The company said an adjusted operating profit from continuing operations is expected to come in between £234m (€274m) and £242m (€283) for the full year, ahead of market expectations. The guidance is around 6pc above the consensus forecast of £224m (€262m).

“We continue to deliver for our customers, supporting them through the busy summer period and helping them drive growth through product innovation,” Dalton Phillips, Greencore CEO, said. “Greencore has never been stronger, and I’m really encouraged by what the enlarged business is starting to achieve. Customers want to grow their business with us, our integration is fully on track, and we have made a fast start on synergy delivery.”

The company confirmed it will continue to explore a potential sale of its US business. In addition, their trading in the fourth quarter has already started positively, with sales increasing from the second half of the third quarter.
