Biotech and pharma industries get first specialist end-to-end IT solutions provider as daybreak partners with Bell Canyon.
Daybreak Information Technologies, a provider of global IT services to the biotech sector, has announced that it has signed an alliance agreement to partner with San Diego-based Bell Canyon Consulting LLC, a data management products and software services provider to global life sciences companies. The partnership between the two companies creates the first comprehensive IT solutions provider dedicated to the biotech and pharma markets.
Together, Daybreak Information Technology and Bell Canyon Consulting will offer a broad set of services ranging from Daybreak’s managed-IT solutions to Bell Canyon’s commercial master data management and commercial operations products and services. As part of the alliance, the two companies have committed to draw on their respective skill-bases to jointly invest in the development of cloud-based software platforms to support the biotechnology and life sciences markets.
The management teams of both companies have previously worked closely together at Elan Pharmaceuticals where the combined teams built and managed highly sophisticated systems spanning the entire lifecycle of research, development and commercial business functions.
Daybreak CEO, Kevin Barrett said: “This partnership expands Daybreak’s capabilities in the commercial segment of the biotech value-chain. Bell Canyon has proven expertise in the commercial data management market and we will leverage its assets to establish a strong capability in the rapidly growing information management market in biotech and life sciences.”
Kevin Kroll, the co-founder and COO for Bell Canyon Consulting said: “The combination of Bell Canyon’s market leading position in the life sciences data management space and Daybreak’s strengths as a leading global services provider in biotech will allow us to expand our relationships with our life sciences customers by providing them with a broader range of additional complementary services and also enable us to extend our capabilities to Daybreak’s clients.”
