Daybreak and Bell Canyon develop software platforms for the biotech and pharma markets

Biotech and pharma industries get first specialist end-to-end IT solutions provider as daybreak partners with Bell Canyon.

Daybreak Information Technologies, a provider of global IT services to the biotech sector, has announced that it has signed an alliance agreement to partner with San Diego-based Bell Canyon Consulting LLC, a data management products and software services provider to global life sciences companies. The partnership between the two companies creates the first comprehensive IT solutions provider dedicated to the biotech and pharma markets.

Together, Daybreak Information Technology and Bell Canyon Consulting will offer a broad set of services ranging from Daybreak’s managed-IT solutions to Bell Canyon’s commercial master data management and commercial operations products and services. As part of the alliance, the two companies have committed to draw on their respective skill-bases to jointly invest in the development of cloud-based software platforms to support the biotechnology and life sciences markets.

The management teams of both companies have previously worked closely together at Elan Pharmaceuticals where the combined teams built and managed highly sophisticated systems spanning the entire lifecycle of research, development and commercial business functions.
