DDFH&B today announced the creation of a new public relations and communications company – The Reputations Agency, effective Monday, February 3rd 2014. The new agency will bring together two of Ireland’s most highly regarded public relations consultancies in their respective fields of corporate and consumer PR – Corporate Reputations and Bespoke with Direction.

The new agency will be the leader in reputation management in Ireland for both corporate and consumer clients – combining global reputation insights and analytical rigour with informed strategic thinking and smart innovative tactics – enabling clients to achieve their communications and business objectives by working with one team.  As part of the merger, The Reputations Agency will become part of the DDFH&B Group, the largest and most successful communications group in Ireland.

The new agency will combine Corporate Reputations’ strength and expertise in reputation management and devising strategic PR campaigns for its corporate, financial and healthcare clients with Bespoke With Direction’s award-winning expertise in the development and execution of ground-breaking consumer campaigns and managing social media engagement programmes for some of Ireland’s leading brands. Led by senior consultants, this combined expertise will enable The Reputations Agency to provide a truly integrated service to its clients – with the breadth, depth and creativity to meet the requirements of any challenging communications brief.

The completely integrated client offering will include: reputation audits and management; corporate and financial PR; consumer and brand PR; social media and campaign activation; healthcare and advocacy communications; and issues and crisis management.    The new PR agency will be among the largest in Ireland, with the aim of becoming the premier integrated public relations agency in Ireland.

The Reputations Agency will be led by managing director Niamh Boyle, along with deputy managing director Niall Quinn (head of Corporate and Financial PR and President of the PRII), deputy managing director Deirdre McNamara (head of Consumer and Brands) and a team of 20 experienced public relations, marketing and communications professionals, advising more than 50 clients.  Trish Morrissey, an experienced communications consultant and senior client adviser, will complete the agency’s core management team in her role as strategy director.

Miriam Hughes, CEO, The DDFH&B Group said today: “Led by Niamh Boyle, Corporate Reputations is the only agency in Ireland with best in class expertise in reputation management – crucial in today’s competitive business environment. Combining her company’s reputational leadership and corporate PR expertise with Bespoke With Direction’s consumer talent and expertise is a game-changer in Irish PR – clients will now get the best advice and campaign development from one team.  With the creation of The Reputations Agency, the DDFH&B Group will now have a full service communications and PR agency that can offer our clients a more integrated approach to their communications requirements.”

Niamh Boyle, managing director, The Reputations Agency said: “Having built a leadership position in reputation management and corporate PR over the last ten years we have increasingly found that clients want more than either a “corporate” or a “consumer” PR agency. In an increasingly fast-changing communications landscape, clients are looking for a truly cohesive PR and communications solution. At The Reputations Agency we will have the experience, expertise, capability – and scale – to devise, manage and execute insightful and impactful campaigns to support all our clients’ communications needs.”

The Reputations Agency will retain Corporate Reputations’ exclusive Irish associateship with the global Reputation Institute, and will continue to be the only Irish communications agency to be ISO 9001 accredited. It will be an active member of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), and Niall Quinn is the current president of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).  Clients include Bord na Mona, Failte Ireland, eircom, Kerry Foods, Investec, IAPI, Mason Hayes & Curran, MSD, Newbridge Silverware, RIAI, The Irish Times and UCD Business Schools.

The new agency’s offices will be based at 25 Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
