Development has commenced on a new primary care centre in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, into which Ulster Bank is investing €5m and Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland is investing a further €2.3m.

The new facilities will enable the HSE to significantly increase the range and type of health care that they can provide locally to the community and the completed facility will open to the public in early 2017.

The new centre, being developed by Clarington Primary Care, will be known as Áras Sláinte and will comprise the HSE; a general practice operated by Centric Health; and a pharmacy operated by Mangan Pharmacies.

The centre will also accommodate a well-proportioned physiotherapy gym, occupational therapy gym and a purpose-built wound treatment clinic in addition to a range of other clinic and group meeting rooms, a café and a convenience store.

Leading Edge Project Directors will act as project directors in respect of the overall development.
