Field Management Ireland (FMI), one Ireland’s leading field sales companies, has announced that it is to create 30 new jobs to support its field sales contract with Irish energy company, Electric Ireland. The contract will add 30 new jobs to the 90 FMI personnel already working on the energy brand’s business.

FMI will be responsible for all residential field sales activity for Electric Ireland through to 2015/16.  The announcement is a continuation of a successful strategic partnership between FMI and Electric Ireland which began in 2011 and saw the launch of a successful field sales campaign throughout the country. FMI’s Electric Ireland team of highly trained field sales representatives will be responsible for directly selling electricity and gas supplies to residential consumers.

Commenting on the announcement, Nicola De Beer, chief operating officer, FMI Ireland said: “We are delighted to be in a position to create new jobs as part of our continuing partnership with Electric Ireland. Our success in residential field sales is delivering growth for their business and for our business and is a great endorsement of our results driven, customer focused approach, as well as the dedication and commitment of our personnel. We look forward to working together in partnership with Electric Ireland over the coming years to deliver further value and growth.”

The sales team will be supported by a strong marketing campaign: ‘Power comes in many forms’ which has been successfully raising awareness of Electric Ireland’s offering.

Commenting on the expansion of the sales force at FMI Ireland, Ronan Sheehy, operations manager, Electric Ireland said: “Since our relationship with FMI began in 2011, we have been struck by the professional attitude and enthusiasm of their residential sales team. FMI has worked closely with Electric Ireland to understand and deliver on our brand values and this has been a critical factor in the success of the partnership.  Their work is reflected in increased sales year on year and helping us to grow and expand our market share. We look forward to further success with our team at FMI.”
