Irish businesses from around the world are set to gather in London for the Irish International Business Network’s third Annual Global Conference, which takes place at Kings Place, London on Friday, November 8th 2013.

Titled ‘Moving into Growth’ the event will bring together leading Irish entrepreneurs and innovators from the USA, Ireland, the UK and Europe to create a platform for domestic and international Irish-owned companies to connect and grow their business overseas.

The conference combines practical workshops with leading business insight from keynote speakers including Tony O’Reilly Jnr, CEO of Providence Resources Ltd, Dee Forbes, MD of Discovery Networks Western Europe, Andy Black, World Poker Tournament Champion, and John Bird, founder of The Big Issue.

A private not-for-profit enterprise, the IIBN is open to all Irish business owners and senior professionals who wish to engage with fellow attendees, develop links and foster on-going trade through the network.

By supporting indigenous Irish businesses and developing greater relationships between first, second and third generation Irish individuals, the IIBN aims to build upon this success, ensuring continued growth and connectivity.

In addition to creating numerous networking and promotional opportunities the ‘Moving into Growth’ conference features a formidable host of speakers. Alongside those named above, highly successful Irish business people including Colman Lydon, president of Soft Track Inc. and founder and former CEO of Fonepool, Denis Donovan, head of Group Non-Core, Bank of Ireland, John Griffin, founder and chairman of Addison Lee, Hazel Hutchinson, CEO of Aegis Corporate Strategy and many more will provide a keen insight into expanding into new territories and operating on the global stage.

Colman Lydon comments: “This conference is about providing guidance and support to those embarking on expansion, offering crucial introductions and insights that could make the difference between success and failure. As someone who has gone through the process of setting-up, growing and selling a business, I understand how vital professional contacts can be, providing invaluable advocacy and advice. I was introduced to IIBN when they launched in New York in 2008. It is a phenomenal network of likeminded entrepreneurs and executives which has created incredible business opportunities for many of its members globally.”
