In advance of this year’s eir Elevation Awards, there will be an evening networking event on September 20th at HubSpot’s Silicon Docks HQ.

Taking place on November 4th in The Marker Hotel, the eir Elevation Awards is a uniquely designed awards programme which seeks to celebrate Ireland’s fastest-growing companies.

Open to all companies 15 years old or younger, the awards is an opportunity to reward the success and ingenuity of Irish businesses.

Placing a spotlight on innovation, international scalability, differentiation and strategic investment, entrants are judged and awarded based on their achievements in these areas.

Fast-growing companies have become an integral part of the Irish business community in recent years, shaping the evolution of start-ups and SMEs in Ireland. Honouring this industry advancement, 100 of the fastest growing companies were been featured in a bespoke edition of Business & Finance. The list can be seen here.

Winners at last year’s inaugural showcase included Voxpro, Foodcloud and Vizor.

In advance of this year’s awards, there will be an eir Elevation evening networking event on September 20th at HubSpot’s Silicon Docks HQ .

Recognising the importance of building relationships for any company wanting to increase its revenue and continue its growth, this event strives to provide a unique opportunity for introduction and communication amongst industry professionals.

Intended to facilitate contact between businesses of all sizes, start-ups, SMEs and larger organisations will be in attendance. In line with the innovative nature of the event hosts, HubSpot, the eir Elevation programme hopes that the evening will lead to lasting relationships and idea generation.

As such, Ian Hyland, CEO and publisher of event organisers Business & Finance Media Group and Eavann Murphy, CCO of title sponsors eir, will give short speeches detailing their involvement in the eir Elevation programme to date.

An address from our hosts at HubSpot will also be delivered by Christian Kinnear, managing director EMEA.

As the eir Elevation recognises and rewards the progression and performance of Ireland’s fast-growing companies, this event will also recognise the accomplishments of an industry professional that encompasses all of the attributes sought by the judging panel.

One such example is Colm Lyon, who will be recognised for his achievements in the fast company space. Lyon is the CEO and founder of Fire Financial Services. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Realex Payments up until the business was acquired in March 2015 for €115m.

From 2000 to 2015, Lyon led Realex Payments to be one of Europe’s largest online payment gateways – processing in excess of €28bn per annum in online payments for over 12,500 retailers, including some of the world’s leading brands
