Document and information management provider opens new record centre in Park West creating six new positions.

Kefron, the document and information management firm, today opened a new 50,000 sq ft record centre adjacent to its existing operation in Park West. The new record centre, which represents an investment of €1.5m has been fitted out to the highest international records management and information security standards.

This expansion was necessitated by Kefron’s increasing growth in the records management marketplace, as a result of continued obligations for Irish businesses to securely manage and store their documents and information. Six new positions will be created in the area of operations with expectations to add to this over the coming months.

Kefron is an Irish-owned business which has been managing sensitive documents and data since 1989. Kefron currently provides information management solutions, including digital and hard copy services, for a strong client base which includes Tesco, Gift Voucher Shop and Wicklow County Council.

Speaking at the opening, Paul Kearns, managing director of Kefron said: “While companies are moving to digitise their document management, and Kefron Digital is an area of rapid growth for our business, our clients have a continual requirement for hard copy storage, especially with regard to legal and financial documentation. We have been providing this service to our clients at our state of the art operation at Park West for over 25 years. The additional capacity afforded by this new record centre will enable us to continue to provide this service, and grow this part of our business further.”

The Kefron group consists of Kefron Filestores, Kefron Digital, and Kefron Consulting. Founded in 1989, the company employs 133 staff and has an annual turnover of over €12m.
