Mobile and digital travel services firm Mobile Travel Technologies (MTT) today announced 70 new jobs across its technical and commercial teams over the coming six months.

The new roles are available across software development, product management, design, quality assurance, finance, sales, account management and marketing in MTT’s headquarters at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin.

The new roles will enable MTT to continue to support its growing customer base and their ambitions to deliver compelling digital travel experiences via sophisticated apps and innovative mobile services that enrich the end-to-end travel experience.

As well as celebrating 10 years in business, the company launched multi-device apps for Singapore Airlines and one of the first airline apps on the Apple Watch with easyJet during 2015.

During the summer, MTT was acquired by Travelport, one of the biggest technology providers to the travel industry worldwide which works with over 400 airlines and 68,000 travel agencies around the globe.

Bryan Conway, interim CEO of MTT, today said: “We are delighted to grow our diverse team with 70 new positions at our vibrant headquarters in Dublin. Travel is a $8 trillion industry, representing approximately 10% of the global GDP and as the appetite for multi-device services from travellers increases exponentially, the opportunities for mobile travel are vast.

“MTT continues to be a pioneer in this sector and our commitment to market leadership and innovation ensures an exciting, fast-paced and rewarding work environment for our expanding team with excellent opportunities for career development.”
