Accenture

Accenture has announced the appointment of Pat Power as Accenture’s Health and Public Service (H&PS) Lead in Ireland.  

In this role, Mr. Power will lead on Accenture’s work helping Irish health & public service organisations accelerate their digital transformation, embrace innovation, and transform to continue to improve citizen and patient services.

He has spent the last 10 years at the helm of Accenture’s Health portfolio. Under Pat’s leadership, the Health practice has grown to being a core part of Accenture’s Irish business. In that role, he was responsible for leading and growing the business, defining and executing the business strategy for the Health practice, and leading Accenture’s teams on a variety of consulting, digital, business transformation and systems integration projects.

Baker Tilly Mooney Moore has announced two new appointments to its Consulting Department.

Ryan Connor and Fintan Eastwood join the department, which covers all aspects of organisational design and development as well as change management.

With a background in people development and talent, Ryan Connor takes up the position of Senior Management Consultant. His previous positions include Learning & Talent Manager at Coca-Cola, Consultant at a Big 4 firm and Director of Springvale Employment & Learning College.

Alongside Ryan, Fintan Eastwood joins Baker Tilly Mooney Moore as Human Resources & Organisational Design Consultant, bringing experience in HR with the National Bank of Australia and as a Consultant within the Big 4.

Gemma Forde, Corporate Partner
LK Shields Solicitors

LK Shields Solicitors has announced the appointment of Gemma Forde. Ms.Forde joins the firm as a corporate partner and will be based in our Galway Office.

Ms. Forde has a broad corporate experience advising clients on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, shareholders agreements, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity investment, professional partnership arrangements, family partnership agreements and co-ownership agreements.

Dr Raul Perez, Occupational Health Consultant
Cognate Health

Cognate Health has announced the appointment of Occupational Health (OH) physician Dr Raul Perez as OH Consultant.

An experienced Occupational Health physician, Dr Perez has relocated from Spain to Dublin to fulfil the new role, bringing more than 15 years’ experience as a medical professional, specialising in the area of Occupational Health. He previously held senior positions within Health and Safety, and Occupational Health services, across industries including energy and healthcare.  

Dr Perez was awarded a Specialist in Occupational Health Medicine qualification in 2013 from the University of Barcelona in Spain, following a Master’s in Evaluating Medicine in 2012. He also holds a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Toxicology from the University of Barcelona. Dr Perez graduated from Anahuac University, Mexico with an honours degree in Medicine in 2006.

Speaking on his appointment, Dr Perez said: “I am pleased to take up this position with Cognate Health, joining an innovator in Occupational Health. Dedicated OH services are increasingly important to employers supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of their employees. I very much look forward to working with the expert team at Cognate Health”.
