This week saw new and notable appointments at Bank of Ireland, Fuzion Communications, Sidero and IPUT Real Estate.


Gráinne Henson, Head of Health Sector — Business Banking Sector,
Bank of Ireland

Bank of Ireland has appointed Gráinne Henson as Head of Health Sector on its Business Banking Sectors team. Gráinne will focus on growing the Bank’s health service lending and funding operations, guiding her team and working with healthcare providers through the post-pandemic challenges facing the sector.

Gráinne brings a vast amount of experience to her new role, with over 30 years’ experience of health service management and delivery across both the private and public sectors in Ireland and the UK. She also has experience of developing and running her own successful start-up company, and since 2014 has held senior roles as director of operations and nursing within some of Ireland’s largest and most profitable private nursing home groups.

In addition to being a Registered General Nurse, Gráinne holds a health specific MBA from City University, London and a Post-graduate Diploma in Dementia Care, from Trinity College Dublin.

Fuzion Communications

Chloé Sullivan, Account Manager, Fuzion Communications

Fuzion Communications has announced the appointment of Chloé Sullivan to the role of Account Manager.

A seasoned communications professional, Chloé joins Fuzion with an extensive background in Corporate Affairs and Government Relations having previously worked with national and international brands across a range of sectors including technology, energy and transport.

Chloé advises clients on their corporate affairs objectives and manages bespoke campaigns to achieve defined policy or legislative outcomes. Chloé holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Politics and International Relations with German from University College Dublin.

David Dolan, Chief Information Officer,
Sidero

David Dolan, Chief Information Officer, Sidero

Sidero, a cloud and digital transformation platform has confirmed the appointment of David Dolan to the position of Chief Information Officer.

With almost 20 years’ experience in the areas of web, cloud, software engineering and digital transformation, David is tasked with driving growth and innovation within Sidero’s key markets including telecoms, fintech and the public sector. He will manage development teams on multiple client sites, ensuring all customer objectives and timelines are achieved.

In addition, David will assist in scaling up Sidero’s cloud-managed service consisting of both proactive and reactive services for migration, maintenance, and optimisation.

David joined Sidero in 2019 and has managed teams of software engineers across all areas of the business and is heavily involved in resource planning, stakeholder engagement and strategic business planning for Sidero’s clients.

Prior to joining Sidero, David worked for MyHome.ie where he held the role of IT Operations Manager for nine years. He had overall responsibility for the site stability and maintenance, mobile apps and over 100 estate agent websites nationwide.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Software Engineering from Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) (now TUS) and a Master’s degree in Technical E-Commerce from Dublin City University (DCU).

David Dolan, commented on his appointment:

Annete Kröger, Non-Executive Director,
Board of IPUT Real Estate

Annete Kröger, Non-Executive Director, Board of IPUT Real Estat

The Board of IPUT Real Estate has announced the appointment of Ms Annette Kröger as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 October 2022. Ms Kröger is CEO Europe of Allianz Real Estate, one of the world´s largest real estate investment managers. With a 20 year career in real estate, she adds significant international industry expertise to the IPUT Board.

John Mulcahy, Chairman, IPUT Real Estate, commented on the appointment:

“Annette brings a wealth of expertise to our Board and we are delighted to welcome her to IPUT. Her experience in the European real estate market will be invaluable as we continue to build on IPUT’s position as Ireland’s leading developer, owner and manager of prime real estate.”
