Heneghan has announced the promotion of Michael Hall to Senior Account Manager.
Hall first joined Heneghan as an Account Executive in 2021 before being appointed to Account Manager in 2023. During this time, he has taken on several roles and has developed extensive experience in supporting clients across a variety of sectors, including corporate, agri-business, renewables, technology, and transport. He contributes to the agency’s media relations activities, with strong experience in managing political and stakeholder relations and crisis communications.
He was previously a graduate communications officer with Fingal County Council for three years.
Hall is a graduate of the University of Limerick with a BA in History, Politics, Sociology and Social Studies. He holds a master’s in political communications from Dublin City University, as well as a Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
Heneghan is a leading strategic communications business providing consultancy in corporate communications, financial communications, public affairs, crisis communications, and digital communications. The agency advises a range of Irish and international organisations across the public and private sectors.
Johnny Meehan, Chief Executive Officer,

Embrace Community Services, a provider of national residential and community services for people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism and mental health needs, is pleased to announce the appointment of Johnny Meehan as Chief Executive Officer. With over 30 years of senior leadership experience across disability, mental health, social housing, youthwork, and social care, Meehan’s appointment strengthens Embrace’s commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred services across Ireland.
In his role as CEO, Meehan will lead organisational strategy, governance, and operational delivery, ensuring that Embrace continues to innovate in service provision and strengthen outcomes for individuals and communities nationwide. He will focus on driving organisational growth, maintaining excellence in regulatory compliance, and deepening partnerships with government, funders, and stakeholders.
Meehan joins Embrace in this role after serving as Managing Director and co-founding member of Embrace from 2021 to 2025. During this period he has overseen the growth of the organisation to deliver leading care and support to over 60 residents; working with them to develop their strengths and live fulfilled lives across their communities.
Prior to joining Embrace, Meehan also served as Head of Community Services at The Talbot Group, Head of Services at Youth Advocacy Programmes Ireland, and Services and Housing Manager at Focus Ireland. Over his career, he has held multiple leadership and governance roles, including non- executive board membership, where he has influenced national strategy, compliance, and community-based policy development.

Steven Mahoney, Rafik Amrane, and Jean Hoffman, Board of Directors,

Chanelle Pharma, an Irish pharmaceutical company and a manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals for human and animal health, have announced the appointment of Steven Mahoney, Rafik Amrane, and Jean Hoffman to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mahoney, Amrane, and Hoffman will bring decades of global leadership experience across healthcare, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship, further strengthening Chanelle’s governance framework and supporting the company’s ambitious growth in both veterinary and human health markets.

Steven Mahoney is a seasoned healthcare executive with 35 years’ experience. He spent most of his career at Merial where he held key leadership roles across Asia Pacific, the U.S. and Latin America focusing on regional strategy, commercial operations, and integration. His expertise in managing complex global teams and driving growth in regulated markets aligns directly with Chanelle’s international ambitions.
Rafik Amrane currently leads Global Operations at Opella, a 5 Billion Euro turnover HealthCare company, overseeing Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality across 13 manufacturing sites, 140 CMOs and more than 5,000 professionals worldwide. His background includes transformational leadership roles at Toyota, Merial and Sanofi, bringing deep operational insight and a strong track record in driving manufacturing excellence and supply chain innovation. Rafik has also led large scale performance transformation in various industries at McKinsey & Co.
Jean Hoffman is an accomplished entrepreneur and board director who has successfully built and exited two healthcare companies, including Putney Inc., a leading U.S. generic veterinary pharmaceutical firm acquired for $200 million. Jean’s expertise spans portfolio strategy, commercial growth and governance, providing Chanelle with valuable experience in scaling high-growth businesses.
