This week sees new and notable appointments at Teneo Ireland, Mainline Power and The Crann Centre


Jennifer Paetzold, Chief Operating Officer,
Teneo Ireland

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Paetzold as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Teneo Ireland. Jennifer will work with Teneo’s senior leadership team in Ireland to drive the growth, expansion and performance of the business, oversee the operational structure and talent development function, and raise the firm’s profile in the Irish market.

Jennifer has 20 years of experience in the professional services industry, where she has worked to implement business strategies and operations that drive growth while improving productivity and profitability. Prior to joining Teneo, she worked with marketing and advertising agency McCann Dublin, most recently serving as Managing Partner.

Jennifer holds an MBA from Henley Business School with specialisations in International Business in the Circular Economy, and Branding in Digital Economies. She is a member of the Institute of Directors, an Associate of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors, and an Associate of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Shane Horgan, Senior Contracts Manager, Mainline Power

Shane Horgan has been appointed as Senior Contracts Manager, Electrical at Mainline Power, part of the Mainline Group. The Cork-headquartered engineering solutions provider services the power, water, telecom and energy sectors in Ireland, the UK, and Scandinavia.

Clare man Shane comes to Mainline after a lengthy career with Kirby Group, where he progressed through the levels of site supervisor, site manager, project manager to operations manager responsible for all operations within Kirby’s Transmission & Distribution Business Unit. A time served electrician, Shane is an experienced project manager overseeing numerous projects, heading a department where annual turnover grew from €10 million to €55 million under his leadership.

Shane will oversee a team of Project Managers within Mainline’s Power business unit, with overall responsibility for EHS, QAQC, scheduling and commercial aspects of projects from tender through to project handover.

Shane is an active member in Clonlara GAA, where he is a member of the Club Executive and has coached players from U6’s through to adult level.


Justin Farrell, Fundraising Manager,
The Crann Centre

Justin Farrell has been appointed as Fundraising Manager at The Crann Centre. Justin joins Crann from UPS where he worked as an account manager. Prior to this, Justin has worked in business development and marketing for leading companies including Leading EdgeLabels and Packaging, North and West Coast Links and while self-employed. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Studies degrees from the National University of Ireland, Galway. 

Justin is focused on building corporate partnerships for Cork-based Crann, where they provide solutions for families with neuro-physical disabilities across Ireland.
