This week sees new and notable appointments at Toyota, Envisage, Excel Recruitment, Vault365, Interpath, and EY.


Paddy Ward, Managing Director
Toyota

Toyota announced that Paddy Ward has been appointed Managing Director of Toyota Financial Services Ireland.

Toyota Financial Services Ireland is part of Toyota Financial Services Europe & Africa. It provides a vast range of financial options to support Toyota customers and retailers across Ireland.

Ward previously worked for Toyota Ireland while holding a range of senior roles across product and pricing, network development, customer experience and mobility.

Most recently, he served as Commercial Director and Board Member at Toyota Ireland, a position he has held since 2021.

“It is a privilege to take on the role of Managing Director of Toyota Financial Services Ireland at such an important time for our industry,” Ward said. “Customers’ expectations are evolving rapidly, and finance has a vital role to play in making mobility more accessible. I look forward to working with our teams and dealer partners to build on the strong foundations already in place, deliver real value for customers, and support the continued growth of Toyota in Ireland.”


Steve Boyes, Managing Director for Ireland
Envisage

Envisage, part of the Noledge Group, which provides financial management and ERP solutions designed to simplify and enhance business operations, has appointed Steve Boyes as Managing Director for Ireland.

Boyes has over 25 years of experience in the business software sector. He has held a number of senior leadership positions throughout his career, and will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and operational performance across both the Republic and Northern Ireland.

With a focus on driving revenue growth and customer excellence, he will ensure Envisage maintains its position as a leading provider of Sage solutions across the island of Ireland.

Boyes has a degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham and is a member of the Institute of Directors. In addition, he has received numerous sales and customer service awards throughout his career.


Cloe Stapleton, Director of Commercial & Finance Recruitment
Excel Recruitment

Cloe Stapleton has been appointed as the Director of Commercial & Finance Recruitment at Excel Recruitment, one of Ireland’s leading recruitment agencies, providing permanent, temporary and contract recruitment solutions across a broad range of industries.

With more than 15 years of recruitment experience across Ireland and the UK, Stapleton built her career specialising in commercial and finance recruitment.

In her new role, Stapleton will lead the strategic direction of the division, with responsibility for business development, client partnerships, and service delivery. She will oversee recruitment across finance and commercial disciplines, support the growth of the division and work closely with employers to provide market insight and practical recruitment advice that helps them attract and retain high-quality talent.

Stephen Seagrave, Senior Data Protection Architect
Vault365 

Vault365, a leading provider of data protection services, announced the appointment of Stephen Seagrave as Senior Data Protection Architect.

Seagrave has leading industry accreditations, including Veeam Certified Engineer and Veeam Certified Architect. He is also the only Veeam Vanguard in Ireland, a worldwide programme which includes a select number of engineers.

While primarily focused on pre-sales, Seagrave will also help to drive the growth of the company’s Veeam practice, which provides data protection solutions built on Veeam’s backup technology to customers.

“I bring Vault365 a wealth of insight in designing and implementing backup solutions for companies of all sizes, from small businesses to large enterprises,” Seagrave said. “I will draw on my extensive experience with Veeam technology to further drive Vault365’s capabilities and help to cement our position as a leading Veeam partner. Andrew Kenny, Head of Tax in Ireland
Interpath 

Andrew Kenny has been appointed as Managing Director and Head of Tax at Interpath.

Interpath supports clients with the provision of advisory and restructuring services and offers a broad spectrum of services, including disputes, regulatory and compliance advisory, value creation, and debt advisory. Interpath’s Tax practice was launched in 2024.

Kenny joins Interpath from FOCUS Capital Partners, where he was Head of Tax. Now, he will expand Interpath’s tax offering in Ireland.

“Andrew’s track record in building high-performing tax teams, alongside his strong technical expertise and relationships across the Irish market, will be invaluable as we scale our tax offering in Ireland,” John Doddy, Head of Advisory at Interpath in Ireland, said. “His appointment further strengthens our ability to deliver integrated advice to both domestic and international businesses navigating increasingly complex transactions and tax requirements.”

At Interpath, Kenny will use his expertise in tax structuring to help business leaders navigate complex property and corporate transactions, ensuring tax compliance while optimising their tax position.

Various Appointments
EY Ireland

EY Ireland has announced 12 new Equity Partners, bringing the total number of Equity Partners in EY across the island of Ireland to 157.

Shane McCarthy has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. He leads EY Ireland’s AI and Data Infusion practice, specialising in the design and delivery of AI and data-driven transformation programmes.

Karl O’Donnell has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. He provides assurance services to multinational groups and high-growth private businesses across many sectors, including technology, renewable energy and Agribusiness. He specialises in International Financial Reporting Standards, local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal control frameworks.

Sinéad Hickey has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting. She leads large-scale initiatives, helping clients realise measurable value from SAP investments. A strong recognised leader in Ireland, she drives integration of AI and emerging technologies to enable innovation, automation and sustained business performance.

Alastair Allen has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting. A Healthcare Technology specialist based in Northern Ireland, he leads digital and technology-enabled transformation initiatives across the healthcare sector. He focuses on improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency through data, digital health solutions and strategic partnerships.

Ciarán Conroy has been admitted as a Partner in Tax. He specialises in aviation finance and structured finance, advising aircraft leasing groups and banks on the establishment and structuring of aircraft leasing platforms in Ireland. He has supported a number of leading aircraft lessors on the acquisition and divestment of significant aircraft portfolios. He has also led multiple big-ticket tax engagements across the broader Financial Services sector. 

Siobhán Donlevy has joined EY Ireland as a Partner in Strategy and Transactions. She has over 20 years’ experience advising owners, private equity and management teams on mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and strategic initiatives. Donlevy supports clients across the full deal lifecycle and has deep expertise in the healthcare sector.

Leanne Berkery has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. She leads EY’s Global Reporting Center of Excellence, supporting clients in optimising their statutory audit and reporting processes. She brings specialist expertise in statutory reporting models, regulatory requirements, governance and technology, with over experience working with large global organisations across multiple sectors.

Shannon Cunningham has been admitted as a Partner in Tax. Based in Northern Ireland, she has over 13 years’ experience advising clients on tax structuring, reorganisations, transaction tax matters and international tax matters. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, she works with private equity and private and public companies across the UK market.

Tony Nugent has been admitted as a Partner in Consulting. He is a recognised leader in delivering finance transformation at scale across the Irish market and beyond. As part of EY’s Digital Finance offering, he helps organisations unlock the value of AI across finance functions, and partners with clients end-to-end on their transformation journey from strategy through to implementation and operations.

Julia Ann Corkery has been admitted as a Partner in Strategy and Transactions. She specialises in strategic commercial advisory, supporting public and private sector clients to deliver large-scale programmes and achieve robust commercial and financial outcomes.

Dara Kavanagh has been admitted as a Partner in Assurance. He leads EY’s Treasury Services team in Ireland and advises CFOs and finance leaders on building resilient, insight-led treasury functions, with expertise in cash and liquidity management, financial risk and treasury accounting. Kavanagh supports clients in Ireland and globally across a range of sectors.

Emily O’Sullivan has joined EY Ireland as a Partner in Consulting. She leads the Electronic Health Record (EHR) practice in Ireland and specialises in large-scale clinical transformation and digital health strategy. A registered nurse by background, she has built her career at the intersection of clinical practice and technology, bringing over 25 years’ global experience in health system transformation and supporting the delivery of connected, person-centred care and improved patient outcomes.
