By Business & Finance Danske Bank has today announced the addition of share trading functionality to its mobile banking apps.
The new share trading functionality gives customers access to ‘market’ and ‘watchlist’ functionalities. The market function allows customers to follow stock indices, government bonds, commodities and funds, while the watchlist enables customers to create their own personalised list of securities according to their individual interests.
In addition, for those customers who have a Danske Bank Custody Account, they now have access to the app’s ‘custody’ and ‘trade’ functions, once logged in. The custody function allows customers to see the total value of their investments including balance, transactions and market details on each security, bond or fund. They can also place trades in a matter of seconds via the trade function within market hours.
Customers using the tablet version of the app will have the option to customise their dashboard with a number of useful widgets, whereas smartphone users will be able to swipe between their day-to-day banking wheel and the new investment wheel.

The Danske Bank app is available now for free download on the iTunes Store or Google Play, with existing app users able to use the new functionality once they update their app which they will automatically receive.
