Parcel Connect, a service that allows customers to send, collect and return online goods directly or via their local Payzone shop, has signed a multi-million euro contract with Irish-based delivery management platform Scurri.

The contract will see Scurri facilitate the delivery of over €3.4bn worth of merchandise value, forecast to be ordered through online retailers such as Littlewoods, ASOS, BooHoo and MissGuided, over the next five years.

The deal will see Scurri providing barcode-labelling technology to over 15,000 customers of the Fastway Couriers group. In addition, Scurri will provide technical support and development services for the business including the innovative Parcel Connect Platform.

Danny Hughes, CEO, Parcel Connect, said: “Our most recent challenge has been capitalizing on opportunities that improve our customer’s delivery experience by executing developments on time or ahead of schedule. Partnering with Scurri has been a fundamental part of this. Both companies share similar philosophies and ambitions. For Scurri, it’s about making it simple, and for Parcel Connect, it’s about making it personal; two values that define the way we work and the direction we’re heading.”

Rory O’Connor, CEO, Scurri, commented: “I am delighted to be able to sign this agreement with Parcel Connect and the wider Fastway Courier Group. This deal positions Scurri at the leading edge of delivery technology and is a great example of how we make delivery simple through technology.”
