Attendees can now register to attend the 2020 Business & Finance Awards Virtual Ceremony, taking place on Tuesday 23rd February at 4pm.

Join us for the prestigious annual event where the very best in Irish and International business will be honoured and celebrated. Awards will be bestowed across five categories including: The 2020 Company of the Year; Business Person of the Year; Elevation Award in association with Enterprise Ireland; FDI of the Year in association with IDA Ireland and the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award. The DE&I Award is now in its second year and was won by Bank of Ireland in its inaugural year.

During the awards ceremony, the five award winners will be announced, and there will be special guest contributions from industry leaders on how their businesses are reinventing, reimagining and rebooting this year.

We will also be featuring a special roundtable discussion on ‘Scaling Your Business in 2021’. Further details to be announced shortly.

Seamus Hand, Managing Partner, KPMG Ireland, spoke at the launch of the 2020 Business & Finance Awards Programme earlier this month, saying: “The Business & Finance Awards in association with KPMG, recognises great leaders, outstanding business people and high performing organisations. The past year has been incredibly challenging and the resilience of Irish business leaders has been remarkable and is to be commended. We’re very proud to be associated once again with these awards.”

Ian Hyland, publisher of Business & Finance, welcomed the launch of the Business & Finance Awards Programme, saying: “I’m delighted to continue the tradition of honouring the business leaders across the country and to celebrate the perseverance and innovation of the business community.”

The first event in the 2020 Business & Finance Awards Programme was the New Horizons webinar which took place mid-January with a panel including Peter Hendrick, CEO National Broadband Ireland, Kari Daniels, CEO Tesco Ireland and Cian Ó Maidín, CEO of NearForm who reflected on a most extraordinary year. They shared their insights and lessons learnt, and looked at the impact of the workforce evolution and new ways of doing business.
