Rohan Holdings has just commenced a development programme that will deliver in excess of 300,000 sq.ft of speculative warehouse space across Dublin in 2016 and 2017.

Gavin Butler of Savills (who market Dublin Airport Logistics Park and North City Business Park for Rohan) commented that this decision is indeed early in the cycle, but with interest rates expected to remain low for the foreseeable future Rohan have decided to deploy some working capital in the clear understanding that it may take a couple of years for the market to come right.

Rohan are to build 10 units in total – seven in north Dublin and three in south Dublin.

Whilst Rohan are yet to officially launch these units, it is understood that rents for the larger units in Dublin Airport Logistics Park will be from €8.95 per sq. ft, with some of the units inside the M50 at North City Business Park requiring at least €10 per sq. ft to produce an acceptable return.
