Minister Richard Bruton TD today along with Sidetrade’s CEO, Olivier Novasque officially opened Sidetrade’s new office in Dublin, with the creation of 90 skilled roles over two years.

Sidetrade has set up this new pan-European platform to bolster its capacity to service worldwide customers as well as to support its business operation in Europe.

“Our aim is to get closer to our clients in terms of culture and time zones while offering the convenience of multilingual support,” said Olivier Novasque, CEO at Sidetrade Group.

“Dublin is a fantastic hub for technology and innovation, which are Sidetrade’s main pillars. Dublin and Ireland hosts a wealth of candidates especially within the multilingual sectors, who are well educated and motivated to succeed in their careers. The IDA team was a significant value-add in our development in Ireland and have been valuable partners in helping Sidetrade establish this pan European platform” he added.

Minister Bruton said: “A key part of our plan to attract multinational investment is to pursue opportunities outside of our strongest market in the USA. We have put extra IDA staff in growth markets and increased the number of trade missions to allow us to include new destinations. Today’s announcement that Sidetrade, a leading French software company, is opening a new office in Dublin with the creation of 90 jobs is a great boost for this strategy. I wish Olivier and his team every success with their operation here, and look forward to working closely with them as they expand their employment here”.

Welcoming today’s announcement Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland said: “As part of our worldwide efforts to attract businesses to Ireland, IDA Ireland targets European companies through our offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt. As a French company based in Paris and Listed on NYSE, Sidetrade is a particularly welcome addition to the increasing number of fast growth companies basing their business services operations in Ireland. IDA Ireland looks forward to more investment from the European market in the coming years.”

Sidetrade plans to hire 90 new positions in Dublin, mostly accounting and financial professionals, marketing and lead generation teams, and customer support roles in a number of languages to companies throughout the EMEA region. “There are great opportunities for highly trained and skilled people to join us,” said Sylvaine Le Baron, HR director at Sidetrade.

Founded in 2000, Sidetrade offers companies the opportunity to digitise the management of their financial relationships with customers through cash and credit management services and debt collection software. With sales in 65 countries and 69,500 users, the company generated sales of €13.6m in 2013.
