Dublin Tech Week will see a festival encompassing Tech, Arts and Science take over Dublin city in 2018.

Dublin Tech Week will see a festival of Technology, Arts, Science and much more spread throughout Dublin city from 16-20 April 2018. Building on the success of the Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) earlier this year, which saw 10,000 attendees visit the convention centre over two days in February, Dublin Tech Week sees the DTS team partner with Tech Ireland and gain support from other key bodies including The Digital Hub and London Tech Advocates, next year’s ambitious undertaking will provide broad scope for involving the wider tech community across a number of spheres and events.

With a focus on fostering lasting relationships and cultivating an intimate experience for each participant, Dublin Tech Week will bring the Tech Community together to experience Dublin’s unique ecosystem.

Speaking on the expansion of the event Sarah Hall, Head of Events said: “While Dublin Tech Summit has been a huge success, we wanted to expand the stage and showcase the unique tech community and ecosystem that Dublin has to offer to a wider audience.”

Dublin Tech week will explore topics such as film tech, fashion tech, marketing and business across the week and what makes the festival truly special is that the team are asking the tech community to have a say in what the week will look and feel like by inviting key representatives to sit on an advisory board for the festival. The addition of Dublin Tech Week will develop another tier to what is already a global event, providing an excellent platform to showcase Dublin for the exceptional business location it is.

The programme of events will be headed up by the second annual Dublin Tech Summit, at The Convention Centre Dublin.
