Thebestof franchise launches in Ireland

UK-based, award-winning franchise, thebestof has announced its expansion into Ireland, with the first franchise operating in North Kildare.

The business champions and showcases the best businesses and events in local towns and regions throughout the country, using a vast selection of marketing tools.

Now in its 10th year, thebestof has grown rapidly across the UK and launched in Australia in 2012. Representing more than 200 communities across the UK to date they now support over 29,000 best businesses.

Along the way it has picked up a host of prestigious accolades including awards from the Crème de la Crème Awards, Best Business Awards, the Sharp Edge Awards, as well as ranking third place in Britain in the Tech Track 100 League Table.

Commenting on the launch of thebestof in Ireland, Paul Teahan, mastor franchisor for thebestof Ireland, states: “I believe thebestof is going to be an evolutionary leap for local businesses across Ireland. Unlike existing business guides, directories or deal-of-the-day websites, thebestof does more than simply promoting businesses. Its community websites act as hubs for all that’s going on in an area: Sharing news, events and important community information with people in each region. Moreover, before being accepted as members, businesses must pass an assessment to ensure they meet thebestof’s standards, ensuring only high quality, reputable businesses are promoted.

Thebestof is currently identifying and recruiting business people across the country that can act as champions for their local area. As part of this, they will host the first discovery day for potential franchisees on October 17th at Carton House.
