Dublin Tech Summit launches new look Spiders

The Spiders have joined Dublin Tech Summit and launched today with a brand new look and feel. Taking place on Thursday 29th November in the RDS Concert Hall, The Spiders will celebrate Ireland’s most innovative and creative digital technology SMEs and startups, and will recognise the extraordinary achievements of teams, founders and CEOs.

Running since 1996, The Spiders have long-championed digital innovation in the technology industry with former winners including Rubicoin, a maker of financial investment tools and TransferMate, a global payments company.

The Spiders have joined the Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) family and its X Summits umbrella which also includes the Women in Tech Awards and its expanding Tech Summits which will shortly launch London Tech Summit. X Summits CEO Will Brightling said about the fresh new look and feel:

The Spiders is the highest level of accreditation for digital excellence in Ireland. The Awards have been witness and driver of digital growth and progress in the Irish digital technology SME market for the past 23 years, and will continue to be a benchmark of association for digital capabilities and competencies. DTS is proud to take over The Spiders, to continue and mirror the growth of technology in Ireland, and champion Ireland’s burgeoning SME and startup community.

He continued: “Standards are always incredibly high for these awards and the bar is raised year on year meaning these businesses really get to showcase their incredible innovation, skill and creativity. With 15 categories including best campaign, best digital startup and best in user experience & design, the stage is set for some incredible talents to make their mark.”

The judging committee is made up of Ireland’s leading web experts, business leaders and authorities on all things digital including but not limited to Phil Cottier, Ipsum Marketing; Robert Farrell, Digital Marketing Academy of Ireland; and Noreen D’arcy, D’Arcy Marketing & PR.
