KBC Bank Ireland has announced the appointment of Fergal O’Riagain as Director of Products.

Fergal was previously Director of Corporate Banking at KBC since 2013, Vice President at KBC Bank NV’s Project Finance unit for eight years and joined KBC Bank Ireland in 2011 as Associate Director, Head of Corporate & Institutional Funding.

Dara Deering, Executive Director and Head of Retail Banking, KBC Bank Ireland, said: “We would like to congratulate Fergal on his new role with KBC. His association with KBC stretches to almost 25 years and with that he brings a wealth of expertise to the products team. Maeve MacEnri has been appointed Director of Human Resources at KBC Bank Ireland. She brings with her twenty years of HR experience.

Prior to joining KBC, Maeve spent five years with Sky where she established and led the HR function and strategy for the start-up of Sky in Ireland. She has also held a number of senior HR roles across different companies, including Aviva Ireland, Vodafone Ireland and Digicel.

Bibby Financial Services Ireland (BFSI) has appointed Elizabeth Bradley as their Head of Sales.

She will manage the growing sales team at BFSI as the operation strives to provide businesses across the country with bespoke financial assistance through a wide range of specialist and working capital funding options.

Elizabeth began her career at BFSI as a Business Account Executive when the Irish branch was founded in 2006. She later progressed into the role of Business Development Manager until moving to a post with AIB Commercial Finance in 2015. Elizabeth rejoined the operation in late 2017 and was appointed Head of Sales earlier this year.

Elizabeth Bradley, Head of Sales at Bibby Financial Services, says: “Irish SMEs continue to face upheaval in the Irish and international markets. Many SMEs still turn to the more traditional lending options when they want to improve cash flow, unaware there are numerous other funding solutions available which may be more suitable. As Head of Sales, I’ll be working with the team to ensure we educate SMEs who may not have considered invoice finance before about the options available to them.”

Conor Brophy, has been appointed Director at Teneo PSG, the communications and strategic advisory consultancy. He joins Teneo PSG from RTÉ where he served as a business and multimedia journalist.

Conor will support clients across the wider Teneo PSG business in Dublin. Teneo PSG is the Dublin hub of global advisory firm, Teneo.

He is well-known for his analysis of business, financial, and economic news from Ireland and around the globe. As well as presenting on RTÉ Radio One’s flagship Morning Ireland, Conor regularly presented on RTÉ TV and contributes a regular column to The Sunday Business Post.

Fuller Marketing has appointed Adele Ward as Marketing Manager.

Adele brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years’ experience to her new role.

In her most recent role as Account Director in Southern Marketing Design and Media, Adele developed strategic ATL and BTL marketing and advertising campaigns for clients in a variety of industry sectors including retail, tourism and local authorities. She was responsible for a number of key clients including Cork County Council, Cork City Council, Opera Lane, and the O’Donoghue Ring Hotel Group (Killarney Plaza Hotel, Killarney Avenue Hotel, Killarney Towers Hotel).

Deirdre Burns has been appointed Chairperson of Travel Department as part of the significant growth ambitions for Travel Department under the new MML Growth Capital Partners investment.

Deirdre has had a distinguished career across a number of consumer facing businesses in both an executive and non-executive capacity. She was previously the Managing Director of Boots Ireland, Retail and Supply Chain Director of Boots UK (part of the Walgreens Boots Alliance) and Retail Director & Omni-Channel Director of the UK mobile telecoms business, EE. Most recently, Deirdre has joined the boards of a number of UK and Irish semi-state and private companies, including An Post and McCabes Pharmacy Group.
