Business & Finance highlights notable new appointments at Three Ireland, AerCap, Initiative Ireland

Brian Ó Nualláin, Director of Investment and Wealth Management

Initiative Ireland 

Initiative Ireland, the Peer-to-Peer secured lender, has announced the appointment of Brian Ó Nualláin, as the company’s new Director of Investment and Wealth Management.

An experienced Director within the financial services sector, he brings over 30 years of experience having held senior roles in asset management, wealth management, private banking and life and pensions. Prior to joining Initiative Ireland, Brian was Business Development Director Ireland at Aviva Investors.

Brian Ó Nualláin will be working closely with Initiative Ireland’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), in supporting the company’s next stage of growth as it prepares to expand its product offering to include Pension Lending Accounts and in anticipation of its upcoming Senior Debt Fund.

Karl Duffy, Head of Enterprise and Public Sector

Three Ireland

Karl Duffy has joined Three Ireland as Head of Enterprise and Public Sector within its Business Department where he will have responsibility for the strategic development of Three’s Enterprise and Public Sector division.

Duffy joins Three from BT Global Services in London where he worked for nine years, most recently as Global Accounts Director, prior to which he was Vice President of its Transformation, Openreach, Business and Corporate division.

Duffy holds a MSc in Management Consultancy from Smurfit Business School and a BSc in Sports Management from University College Dublin. He is co-founder of the London Irish Business Society.

Bart Ligthart, Head of Trading and Portfolio Management

AerCap Holdings has announced that Bart Ligthart will assume the position of Head of Trading and Portfolio Management.

Mr. Ligthart joined the AerCap Portfolio Management team in 2007, and was appointed to the position of Head of Trading earlier this year. Mr. Ligthart has 11 years of experience in aircraft trading and portfolio management in both wide and narrow body aircraft. He has been central to developing and executing AerCap’s portfolio management strategy.
