Business Person of the Month February 2025: Aidan Corbett, CEO of Wayflyer, oversees acquisition of MadeMeBuyIt

Aidan Corbett, CEO of Wayflyer finalised the acquisition of business-to-business marketplace “MadeMeBuyIt”.

Wayflyer, the leading financing provider for consumer brands, finalised the acquisition of MadeMeBuyIt, a business-to-business marketplace that connects e-commerce brands with national retailers.

Founded in 2022 by Benjamin Kosinski, MadeMeBuyIt experienced rapid growth in the U.S. by leveraging the rise of social commerce. The platform bridges the gap between digitally native brands, particularly those with viral products or influencer backing, and established retailers looking to expand their distribution networks. Since its launch, the company has attracted over 500 e-commerce brands and secured partnerships with ten major U.S. retailers, including Kohl’s and FYE.

This acquisition strengthens Wayflyer’s position in e-commerce financing, fueling their U.S-expansion while enhancing its ability to support brands in scaling their retail presence.
