Excellence, Innovation and Trust to be celebrated at 2023 FS Awards in association with KPMG

Nominations for this year’s FS Awards in association with KPMG will remain open until July 21st with this year’s event taking place on October 26th in the Round Room of the Mansion House.


The FS Awards will recognise the companies, teams and individuals who lead, innovate and shape their organisations through a commitment to excellence that has cemented Dublin’s reputation as a global financial services hub and the Gateway to Europe.

The judging panel will be assessing entries across a number of different criteria, specific to each category, with strategy, innovation, impact and a customer-centric approach keystone across all categories.

FS Awards 2022

Last year’s event acknowledged the success of a number of Irish financial services luminaries and celebrated 35 years of the IFSC and 12 diverse categories recognised innovation in the Financial Services sector.

300 guests attended the event which attracted over 80 submissions from 60 companies. The ceremony recognised the achievements of groundbreaking startups and established figures in the sector.

Michael Noonan received the Pádraig Ó hUiginn Outstanding Contribution to Financial Services Award, sponsored by KPMG.

“I am honoured and humbled by receiving this award here today,” Noonan said upon receiving the award presented by Seamus Hand, Managing Partner, KPMG.

He continued: “Pádraig Ó hUigín was a great civil servant and a great Irish man […] I think our civil service has been patriotic, excellent and competent and I’d like to acknowledge and appreciate very much their service to the country. Those that are supporting the civil or public service have had difficult times.”

Liberty Insurance claimed the Grand Prix Award, sponsored by KPMG as the Sustainable Finance Award went to Aviva in what was a special night for the inaugural FS Awards.

This year’s awards

This year’s categories, recognise financial leaders in cutting edge and topical areas such as Fintech Innovation Award, FS Challenger Award and a Sustainable Finance Award.

The judging panel will be assessing entries across a number of different criteria, specific to each category, with strategy, innovation, impact and a customer-centric approach keystone across all categories.
