REPRO FREE Newly merged aviation company announces expansion to Shannon Free Zone New company expects to double its workforce to 50 within two years Monday 12th February 2018: An aircraft interior modification and refurbishment specialist, previously trading as indigenous Irish company UJet Group at the Shannon Free Zone, has announced that it is expanding its business operation and establishing a European Hub at Shannon Free Zone following a merger with US company STS Component Solutions. The merger will lead to the creation of 28 jobs at the Shannon operations over the next two years. STS Component Solutions is a division of STS Aviation Group, which currently offer materials management, engineering services, technical support, original equipment manufacturer distribution, and supply chain management solutions to the aerospace industry based in Florida. The company will now offer its growing global customer base robust Aircraft Interior refurbishment and modification services including, full cabin reconfiguration, aircraft seats and support services under the newly formed brand, STS UJet. An aircraft interior refurbishment firm, previously trading as the Irish company UJet Group, has announced it is expanding its business operations following a merger with STS Component Solutions.

The company, formerly known as UJet Group, will establish a European Hub at Shannon Free Zone and the merger will create 28 new jobs over the next two years.

STS Component Solutions is a division of STS Aviation Group and offers materials management, engineering services, technical support, original equipment manufacturer distribution and supply chain management solutions to the aerospace industry based in Florida.

STS UJet will be the new name for which the company will offer its aircraft interior refurbishment and modification services and it will join the 60 aviation companies based at Shannon Free Zone, which employ over 2,600 people between them.

Mark Robertson, President of STS UJet, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our operation to Shannon Free Zone. Our new facilities provide us with the space to grow and expand into the future. Within two years we expect to more than double our workforce to 50 people, which currently stands at 22 people.

“Our customers currently include 15 of the world’s top aviation leasing companies, among them AerCap, Avalon, Dubai Aerospace, BBAM and airlines such as TUI fly and Globus operating for S7 Airlines. As the region’s premier FAA/EASA 145 approved aircraft interior repair shop we are looking forward to offering our existing and new customers an extended range of new services through our parent company STS Group.”

The company are taking newly-refurbished facilities totalling 38,000 sq ft in Shannon Free Zone.  In expanding the component repair capability of the Aviation Cluster at Shannon, STS UJet is greatly enhancing the versatility of the International Aviation Services Centre (IASC).”
