Carolan Lennon

Carolan Lennon joined eir in 2010 and has been the Managing Director of its Networks and Wholesale division, Open eir since 2016, leading the largest team in the business, and leading the rollout of fibre broadband to connect 300,000 homes in rural Ireland. She has also held roles within eir as Managing Director of Consumer – with responsibility for both the fixed and mobile businesses, including the Eircom, eMobile and Meteor brands – and, subsequently, chief commercial officer of consumer.

David McRedmond will become eir’s new Non-Executive Chairman, taking over the chairman role from Carl Leaver. Dave was formerly Group Commercial Director for eir, before being headhunted for the role of CEO of TV3. After transforming the business and leading the successful sale of the broadcaster to Liberty Global in December 2015, Dave took on the role of CEO for An Post in 2016.

Philip Connor

Philip Connor, Head of Energy Services
Pinergy

Pinergy has announced the appointment of Philip Connor as Head of Energy Services, which is dedicated to providing customers with a range of energy-efficient technology solutions

Philip will manage and develop the portfolio of innovative energy technology providers that Pinergy has partnered with in solar energy, wind energy, heat pumps and LED lighting energy systems.

Philip brings a wealth of experience and expertise in renewable technologies, system design, energy efficiency solutions and project management. Philip held a past role as Senior Business Manager with Solartricity and is a member of the Irish Solar Energy Association.

Niall Lalor

Niall Lalor, Country Manager Ireland
Dan Lonborg, Vice-President, Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ Development
Guidewire Software Ireland

Guidewire Software has appointed Niall Lalor as Country Manager Ireland and Dan Lonborg been promoted to Vice-President, Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ Development.

Niall will be responsible for operations coordinator, external representative and being an advocate for the Dublin office.

Dan’s appointment will see him lead the development team’s building InsuranceSuite and non-US product content.

Julie McCarthy

Julie McCarthy, Actuarial Lead
Royal London Ireland

Royal London Ireland has appointed Julie McCarthy as Actuarial Lead within the Proposition Department.

Julie’s responsibility  is to strengthen the firm’s ability to deliver market-leading propositions to brokers and customers.

She was previously Head of Life Finance at Aviva Life & Pensions for a year and an Investment Actuary at the same location for over five years.

Julie is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds B.Sc. in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University (DCU).
