After last year’s success, the Project Foundry has announced today its return as sponsor of Business & Finance’s CIO 100.

Building on its focus on recognising digital leadership in Ireland, the company returns at a time when the CIO role has become increasingly important.

Declan Ryan, CEO of the Project Foundry, said that the company is “very proud to sponsor the Business & Finance CIO 100 for the second year running” and to “celebrate the leaders who are shaping the future of Irish business through technology.”

The CIO 100 Index will culminate in an exclusive event on May 28th, under the theme “Strategy to Execution in the Age of AI”, focusing on how organisations can scale AI adoption while maintaining governance, operational control and workflow discipline.

The event will feature a panel discussion hosted by MC Joan Mulvihill. Other participants will include Paul Turley, Senior Director of ServiceNow Ireland, and Mark Carragher, Chief Technology Officer at The Project Foundry.

As organisations accelerate AI adoption, CIOs face rising governance demands. Pressure is also increasing to deliver transformation quickly and effectively. As a result, the CIO role now extends far beyond technology stewardship.

Today’s digital leaders are expected to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, while guiding enterprise-wide change that delivers measurable value.

Declan Ryan said CIOs are operating at a “genuine inflection point” as organisations navigate rapid technological change alongside increasing governance demands. “They are not only responsible for enabling innovation, but also for bringing control and judgement to some of the most important transformation decisions their organisations will make,” he said.

This is where The Project Foundry comes in. The company helps business and technology leaders turn ambition into practical, governed execution. Rather than letting AI efforts add to the noise of fragmented systems and isolated initiatives, The Project Foundry enables organisations to pursue connected, controlled, and outcome-focused transformation.

“At The Project Foundry, we believe the real opportunity lies in helping leaders to turn strategy into execution, put AI to work with control, and build organisations that are faster, more connected, and better equipped to deliver value.”
