Shortlist for 2014 David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards announced

The shortlist for the 2014 David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards has been announced and features an inspirational group of people to watch in 2014.

The overall winner and winner in each of the three categories – arts, business and social – in the 2014 David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards will be announced at a ceremony in the offices of Mason, Hayes & Curran on Thursday,  January 30th 2014 by Dr Chris Horn, chair of the panel of judges and guest speaker, 13 year old Jordan Casey, founder and CEO of Casey Games. The winner will win a prize package worth over €100,000 – comprising of €10,000 in cash and mentoring and consultancy services from a range of companies.

Business to Arts, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, business innovation centres, incubation centres and enterprise support agencies work with the David Manley Award Committee in implementing the Award scheme. Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Ulster Bank are the main sponsors of the Awards.

The €100,000 mentoring and consultancy services are provided by Deloitte, Business & Finance, Enterprise Ireland’s Mentor Network, Content Kings, grainne byrne PR, Image Now, Islandbridge Brand Direction, Kendlebell, Mason Hayes & Curran, Newmarket Consulting, Newmarket Partnership, Pigsback.com and Thesaurus Software.
