Thebestof franchise to create 90 jobs

Thebestof, an outsourced marketing franchise, has revised forecasts due to its significant growth and expects to create more than 90 jobs directly through its franchise, while generating an additional 450 jobs indirectly.

The UK-originated, award-winning franchise, is celebrating its 10th year in business this year and has gone from strength to strength over this period. Today Thebestof represents more than 200 communities across the UK and Australia, supporting over 29,000 of the best businesses.

The organisation’s franchisees champion and showcase the best businesses and events in local towns and regions throughout the country, using a vast selection of marketing tools, including SEO, customer testimonials facilities, professional photography, special offers sections, targeted weekly newsletters to local businesses and consumers to improve their online presence and raise awareness.

Maynooth-based entrepreneur and franchising expert Paul Teahan acquired the master franchise for Ireland and commenced operation last October. In that time Thebestof Ireland has established more than four franchises across the country, creating 10 jobs and winning the Best Newcomer Award at the 2015 Irish Franchise Awards.

Teahan now plans to establish an additional 40 franchises throughout Ireland over the next four years, generating 90 jobs in the process.

Teahan comments: “The Irish economy is recovering, people are spending again and business owners are looking for ways to get more customers in the door. Many small and local businesses know they need marketing support but don’t know where to start and often don’t have the time or budget to commit to it. We’ve seen such rapid growth because we take the hassle out of marketing for our clients while delivering measurable results in a very affordable manner.”
