Top tech companies shortlisted for Technology Ireland Software Industry Awards

Over 70 tech companies from across the country entered this year’s Technology Ireland Software Industry Awards, which takes place on the 24 November at the Mansion House in Dublin.

The 25th instalment of the event sees the 70 entries whittled down to nearly half (36) for the final shortlist. Gold sponsors for the event are Bank of Ireland, ByrneWallace, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland. The keynote speaker is Barry Lowery, Government CIO and the MC for the awards is Darragh Maloney, RTÉ sports broadcaster.

8 independent panels of judges will oversee the process wherein the shortlisted finalists will present. These panels comprise of CEOs and founders of Irish software and digital-technology organisations.

The judges will decide the winners in each of the eight categories: Technology Ireland Company of the Year, Emerging Company of the Year, Technology Innovation of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in International Growth, Technology Services Project of the Year, Excellence in Talent Development, Multinational Corporation Initiative of the Year, Outstanding Academic Achievement of the Year.

Paul Sweetman, Director of Technology Ireland, said: “The indigenous software and digital technology sector is Ireland’s fastest-growing export sector. Looking at this year’s awards entrants we can see the depth of quality and talent making this happen. More than 70 technology companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and it is the tireless efforts of all in these companies and beyond that are turning Ireland into a global technology powerhouse.”
