The Business & Finance 2017 Tech 100 index was launched with a panel discussion event at Airbnb’s Dublin office
The annual Business & Finance Tech 100 index honours the leaders in the Irish tech sector. Ireland has become a hub for global talent, companies and technological advancement. We are renowned for hosting some of the most influential industry leaders and for housing some of the world’s most innovative operations.
This year’s index was launched at the Airbnb offices on Hanover Quay, with a networking event and panel discussion, entitled ‘The Technology Tipping Point’. Moderated by Business & Finance Group Head of Content Deanna O’Connor, the panel included Niamh Bushnell, CEO and founder of Tech Ireland; Anna Scally, Partner, KPMG: Head of Technology & Media, Fintech Lead; Nicola McClafferty, Investment Director at Draper Esprit; and John Whelan, Partner at A&L Goodbody, leading the International Technology Practice.
This year’s listing takes a panoramic view across the spectrum of people who make up Ireland’s tech ecosystem, including executives from leading global tech firms to start-up founders, from investors to champions and supporters of the Irish tech scene.
