Tom O’Leary, Chief Information Officer,

Prior to joining ICON, he worked for SmithKline Beecham and later GlaxoSmithKline and held positions in Data Management, Project Management and Resource Management. O’Leary holds a Degree in Medicinal Chemistry and a Masters in Data Management from Kingston University in Surrey and is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Conor Patterson, Chief Technology Officer,

Conor Patterson was appointed Chief Technology Officer for BT Ireland in 2020. Prior to this he held various leadership roles in BT including BT Ireland Chief Information Officer and Head of IT, Managed Services UK.
BT Ireland delivers integrated and secure communications and IT services to major multinational companies and indigenous exporters, as well as wholesaling to other communications companies.
Patterson has responsibility for setting and delivering BT Ireland technology vision and strategy across all aspects of the Ireland business, from core design of national network and software engineering through to support and development of business critical systems. Providing the business with the best technology to enable profitable growth, drive competitor advantage and business efficiency while simplifying customer and colleague experience with a particular emphasis on digital transformation journey.
John Power, Director of IT,

John Power is a Senior Information Technologist with a proven track record of delivering value, revenue and transformational change at leadership level. Power has extensive experience in providing clear vision and strategy and has a track record in the end-to-end delivery of software solutions across organisations including Vodafone (Middle East/Africa), T-Mobile (Europe/USA), Hutchison Whampoa/3/Three (Worldwide) and Inmarsat. Within Ireland, he has held positions with Enet and now National Broadband Ireland (NBI). His current NBI responsibilities include, overseeing the entire information technology real estate, specifically the BSS/OSS, ERP, PPM (Project Portfolio Mgt), Analytics, ICT and IT Operations, maintaining them according to established goals, standards and contractual requirements, as well as having full responsibility for the alignment of IT strategies to business strategies and desired outcomes.
Peter Quinn, Chief Information Officer,

Prior to joining DCC, he worked as an IT consultant with an international firm where he specialised in the delivery of complex IT solutions across a range of business sectors. He had previously worked in the food and transport industries in a variety of IT leadership roles.
Katrina R. Redmond, SVP & Chief Information Officer,

Redmond joined Eaton in 2021. Prior to Eaton, she worked for Hubbell, where she served as vice president and CIO. Throughout her career, she has guided digital transformations and global e-commerce solutions and delivered global enterprise system implementations.
Redmond has held IT leadership roles at ABB, GE Grid Solutions, GE Industrial Solutions and GE Plastics. she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from the University of Georgia. She later received a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from the Southern Polytechnic State University. Redmond has served on the GE Women in Technology Board and received a CIO 100 Award in 2013.

Before joining An Post, Rogers worked in various executive roles in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors globally and in Ireland. He holds a Bsc in Digital Security and Forensics and MSc in Digital Innovation from Smurfit UCD.
Mark Ryan, Head of IT,

Mark Ryan began working at CityJet in 2022. He joined the firm as IT Manager and rapidly progressed into the role of Head of IT. His expertise include managing staff, Desktop Support, Customer Support, Business Applications, Computer Architecture, Active Directory, networks and databases. He previously worked at Ivor Fitzpatrick and Company Solicitors as IT Manager and KN Circet where he began working as Operations Support Manager and later became IT Delivery Manager.
Michael Ryan, IT Projects Director,

Before that, Ryan worked for more than thirty years in IBM across several senior leadership roles both in Ireland and internationally, where the final role he held was as Global Technology Services Leader in Ireland, which was IBM Ireland’s largest business unit.
He is an energetic and decisive senior executive with a sustained track record of delivering business outcomes through focused execution of business transformation programmes.

He is a chartered Engineer and a fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineers. Savage is the former Chairman of Cork Institute of Technology and previously held the role of inaugural Chair of Munster Technological University. He was a board member of The American Chamber of Commerce Ireland from 2013 to 2019 and took on the role of president throughout 2016.

Shane Slattery worked internationally with KPMG for several years designing systems and process changes for their blue chip clients including Ray Ban Sunglasses, Heineken and Nalco Chemical Company (now Ecollab). He has almost twenty five years’ experience as CIO of Dawn Meats Group which is one of Ireland’s largest food producers.
The company operates in twelve countries, exports to over fifty countries, has over 7000 employees and a turnover which is in excess of €2bn. A Master’s degree graduate of the Michael Smurfit Business college, Slattery is also a certified Prince2 project practitioner, MsP practitioner and ITIL Expert.

Fran Thomspon, Interim Chief Information Officer,

Fran Thompson is Interim Chief Information Officer of the Health Service Executive (HSE) and CEO of eHealth Ireland enabling the digital transformation of Ireland’s health service.
Thompson has over twenty fives years of health ICT leadership experience and has a comprehensive understanding and practical application of transformation and change management within the health sector. Before his appointment as Interim CIO, he was the Programme Director for the Strategic e-Health Programme for the Office of the CIO.
He has been involved with all aspects of ICT and has played a leading role in delivering various projects and programmes including Hospital Administration and Hospital Clinical systems, Primary Care messaging solutions and Health Finance solutions.
Thompson led the creation and set up of the ICT Project Management Office within the HSE and has responsibility for delivering a number of key strategic e-Health programmes including the electronic health record for the country and the Individual Health Identifier.
Suzanne Tracey, Chief Technology Officer,
SIRO Ireland
Suzanne Tracy is Chief Technology Officer at SIRO and a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. SIRO is a joint venture between ESB (Ireland’s State Electricity Board). The firm is rolling out Ireland’s first full fibre to the premises network, with over a quarter of all Ireland’s premises passed to date.
Tracey joined SIRO from Vodafone, where she held a number of senior positions including Head of Demand Management, Global Operations, Group Technology (GT) and is also a Director and Board member of VOGSIL, Vodafone Group Technology function and legal entity in Ireland. She has led several delivery & operations teams for GT and Vodafone Ireland.
Tracey is committed to driving Customer Experience and Service Excellence and this is a core focus for her in undertaking her role in SIRO. She holds a BA in Business information Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance.
Niall Twomey, Chief Technology Officer,

Niall Twomey is the Chief Technology Officer at Fenergo and is responsible for technical strategy, design and architecture. He leads core teams within Fenergo to create solutions that deliver impactful ROI for global financial services clients.
Prior to working with Fenergo, Twomey spent over ten years working in financial services product development and system integration roles at Barclays Capital, Fidelity Investments and Accenture. He holds an honours MBA from University College Dublin (UCD), Smurfit School of Business Dublin and an honours degree in Business Information Systems from University College Cork.
Patrick Warren, Chief Technical Officer,
Mainstream Renewable Power
In June 2021, Patrick Warren was appointed Chief Technical Officer for Mainstream Renewable Power with an immediate focus on digitalisation and identifying and deploying new technology to enable Mainstream to develop, construct and operate renewable projects more efficiently at a lower cost.
With over ten years at Mainstream, he previously led the procurement, engineering, EAG, construction, operations and development activities centrally within the Mainstream group.
Warren has worked in engineering, procurement and project management roles for eighteen years in the energy industry, the majority of which has been spent in renewables. He commenced his career in ESB International before working for six years with Kirby Group Engineering.
Warren holds a first-class honours degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Engineering and Technology in the UK.

Derek Wilson, Group Chief Information Officer,

Derek Wilson leads Origin’s technology strategy, governance, shared services, transformation programs and data analytics across the EU, UK and LATAM markets. He has entrepreneurial P&L responsibility for Origin’s SaaS B2B digital agriculture business and Origin’s AI/ML research partnership (CONSUS) with University College Dublin that works to identify and implement innovative AgTech solutions.
Wilson was previously Technology & E-Commerce Director of The Irish Times Group and Managing Director of Siemens Business Services. He also held senior positions with KPMG, Version 1 and JBA.

He has held the role of CTO at Smyths Toys since 2013. Prior to taking up the position. Wilson worked at Havas Media, Musgrave and Pentland Group.
